MENTAL Deterioration. [Yandere! Hanako-kun X Reader]

Apparition 9: 4 O'clock library

From the rest of the day onward, you and Kou didn't see Hanako. You even stopped by the bathroom during lunch to hopefully catch him, yet to no avail. Inevitably, your feelings questioning his state of mind had grew worse. Now you didn't know if you should approach him at all. 

Sitting there in your final class, you couldn't help but overhear a few students chattering. You knew the both of the girls; Nene Yashiro and Aoi Akane. From her whisper, you could only tell that Aoi was telling Nene something that wasn't meant to be overheard. "Hey, Nene.. have you heard about the 4 O'clock library! They say that it's a place you can only enter at 4 PM, and get this; inside you can find the records of every student who attended this school.. Dead or alive. The book both contains their past, as well as future. Creepy, right?"

Having heard this, your bones rattled in fear. Things related to horror was something that was considered your weakness. Judging by Nene's response, you could also tell that she was also just as petrified. The Daikon shivered.

"Remind me to stay away from the library whenever it's four, Aoi..."

"Sure thing!"

You glanced down toward your closed notebook. The 4 O'clock library, huh...? The thought of going there definitely made you a little intimidated, but at the same time... you did wish to know if you could help Hanako with whatever was troubling him. Perhaps reading the future could give you the jump on things? 

You clenched your fist while nodding your head, proud of an idea that had just came to you. 'Not only would I know why Hanako's been acting strange, I can also prevent other things from happening!' Happily smiling to yourself, you couldn't wait for the bell to ring. You started to wonder if Kou would want to join you. He seemed like the adventurous type, so there was a high chance he'd gladly do it in a heartbeat. 

It's... not like you were scared to be alone or anything.

Eventually, the bell rang and the clock struck four. You stood up immediately, causing many to glance into your direction, before returning to what they were doing prior. Grabbing your belongings, you quickly made a bolt to the door, and sliding it to the side you became far too eager. This recklessness is what made you bump into someone, and the both you staggered backward while groaning in unison. 

The other looking down at you, he eyed you calmly as he brushed off his uniform. "What's gotten you in such a hurry, huh cutie?" From that nickname, you shot your eyes up toward a boy who towered over you, a sly grin on his face. You failed to recognize him because of his messy red hair styled into an undercut, and grey eyes that were both curious and flirtatious. 

He leaned down a little, his head close to you. "I'm afraid I haven't seen you around. Name's Hyuuga Natsuhiko, but you can just call me Natsuhiko." Pointing a thumb towards himself, it felt as though he was trying to charm you. "And you?" His tone was calm, but voiced how provocative he could get. 

You on the other hand, broke down into a fit of profuse sweats, your cheeks reddening. "O-Oh... my name is.. [L/N] [F/N]..." Speaking in a whisper because of how close he was, you leaned away a little, soon turning your head the other way. Natsuhiko on the other hand raised a brow. "Hm? Couldn't catch that." He brought himself closer, your heart about to give way and into failure. 

At this point you started to wonder how to get out of this situation. It wasn't what you were made out for. Closing your eyes, hopefully your silence would've been enough to make him leave.
