"You want me to cut ties with Hanako? But why?" It was concerning for Kou to even suggest that, and what made matters worse was you felt like something like that would come from his mouth sooner or later. Kou turned his head away from you, eyebrows curling.

"I'm sure you've felt it, he has this strange aura around him..." The male lifted his hand and clenched the heart of his shirt, nervous bullets of sweat running down his face as he relived the terrorizing moments regarding Hanako and his malice. "Part of me is certain that I'm not seeing things! He just seems.. really... menacing.."

You gulped to swallow the anxiety coursing through you, but shivered as goosebumps climbed onto your skin since you could relate to the intense fear he was feeling. You lost your appetite, lowering the spoon in your hand.

Soon enough, Kou resumed. "That's why I want you to avoid him.. please trust me on this one, [Y/N]! It's not just a gut feeling." He wanted to persuade you, and little did he know that you've been convinced enough. There was no swaying your resolve, yet even still you were rather reluctant.

You were nervous about the consequences of avoiding Hanako.

"I.. I'll have to sleep on it." You replied, Kou understanding completely. He knew that you needed time, and just like anyone you also had to ponder on certain things.

"I'll get going then. When you're finished eating, just take your dishes downstairs." He took his eyes off of you and turned to your doorway, making your face dull. You didn't want him to leave so soon.

Kou left without a word, quite oblivious to your feelings since he was focused on his own. By the time the door had closed behind him, there was a dreadful silence lingering in the air. Looking down, a sting nipped at your heart. It wasn't because of your love for Kou, but rather because of unease.

You were unsure... would avoiding Hanako be the best solution? It'd be better to settle things with words. But-- he's just very hard to confront.

Soon enough, you finished your dinner and decided to take a shower before heading to bed. On your way to your room however, you were met by Teru's surprising appearance. He stood beside your door with crossed arms. Undoubtedly-- it looked as though he wanted to tell you something.

"Oh, [Y/N]. I was waiting for you to leave the shower," He started, moving his arms down to his sides. "Showing up here might be weird of me, but I was meaning to talk to you." He shifted his eyes to Kou's door which lied not very far.

With you following his eyes, your heart squeezed, immediately knowing the subject of your current topic. Gulping nonetheless, you started to gain the confidence to speak. "What.. is it? Is it about Kou?"

Teru didn't look surprised, not in the slightest-- and upheld a slight grin. He approached you, and once he drew close within your personal bubble an timid shade of red gave away your uncontrollable fluster. "I've noticed how he's been looking at you. Do the two of you have something going on?"

"N-No!! No way! Not in a million years!" You waved your hands around frantically, shaking your red face, "K-Kou is someone I really admire! That's all!!" Your response heaved a disappointed look from the junior's older brother. He quirked a brow, gazing at your face before it hid beneath an amused depiction.

"Really? Then you don't mind if i tell him that, right?" He anticipated your upcoming reaction. So before you could even open your mouth, he dismissively chuckled with the wave of his dominant hand. "I'm kidding, [Y/N], so don't overreact."

While you practically choked on your own timidity, you didn't know until now how teasing Teru was. He was more than just a student council president, honestly you wished you noticed that sooner. "O-Oh.." Your chest squeezed on your heart again.
