Apparition 16: Troubled

Once you uncovered that this boy confoundedly gazing at you wasn't Hanako, you gave the apparition himself a glance, noting that he appeared distressed.

Soon enough, he crouched down in front of you, tilting his head to the side gingerly. You became startled, avoiding his gaze. Many questions needed answering... right now you were certain that you were in the presence of your contractor's doppleganger.

"I was going to say Hi to Amane since I haven't seen him in decades, but..." The boy turned your head into his direction by pressing his palms against your cheeks, being sure to soak in every detail of your face.

"You seem important to him."

Joints halting, your [E/C] orbs gradually shifted back onto the one in front of you nervously, and it was until then did you realize how dangerous the air around him was.

He let go of your cheeks so he could stand up and look at Ivy, who trembled at the sight of him. "Hey, what did I say about killing randoms? You're only supposed to do that with the girl who betrayed you..."

Leisurely stepping forward, the young girl shook her head, mutters coming from her submissively. "N..No.. ca.. can't.." Ivy jittered, "...Wrath.. sp-spread..."

In an effort to comprehend, his index finger had been laid on his lips, a gesture in which reminded you of Hanako.

"So long story short, you're saying you can't listen to me?" Lowering his finger, a wide smile made itself known. "Then.." Lifting his hand and pulling back his arm for momentum, the boy bared his fingers before he proceeded.

"I'll have to terminate our contract now!"

A grotesque noise filled the air. You were too bewildered to realize what was happening, up until you felt an abrupt splatter against your cheek. Even then, you remained shocked, for the other's arm plunged right through the apparition's chest like it was an easy feat.

Kou staggered back. Not only did someone who seemed to have a resemblance to Hanako appeared, he was also one of a dark presence.

He looked at you, who was frozen from from shock and trembling on the ground.

Feeling as if you were in immediate danger, he wanted to get you away from your newest visitor, meanwhile Hanako had felt the vines binding his body loosen, until it fell and withered away into dust.

However, he wasn't so focused on that. He was busy gazing at the individual who killed his own employer, jaw loose yet not uttering a word. Eyebrows twitching until they collapsed into a furrow, he too had the same thought as Kou.

"T.. Tsukasa..."

The other boy's identity was now brought into light. While Tsukasa was watching Ivy's body collapse into the center of black blood, he wiped his bloodied palm against his clothes, smothering the ooze onto the fabric carelessly. Even still, blood stuck to the rest of his body.

Once the voice he heard had been recognized, he turned as his face lit up drastically, while another smile joined him. It was far more genuine than the last, though.

"Aaaammaaaaneeee!" Tsukasa excitedly approached him, nearly tackling the obsessive ghost. Hanako grew a bit defensive and tense, raising his knife to no avail. Sweat dropped from his chin, and his terror, mixed with happiness, was clear as day.

He could feel as the enthusiastic one had pressed his cheek to his in a frantic nuzzle, "It's been years! You haven't changed one bit!"

"H-Hey..- you're..--" Hanako attempted speaking, but he couldn't. Many memories rushed in like a waterfall, all of them of which; were very unpleasant.
