"So, is it happening tonight?" Cleo asked as Jason, Blake, Cleo, her squad, and I sat at a cafeteria table.
"Yeah, why not!" Jason approved, biting into an apple.
They've always been talking about something happening every Friday. I've been dying to know what happens.
They all look at me, then Cleo whispers into Jason's ear. He gives an assuring nod and looks at me, "Wanna hang out with us tonight?" Jason asks.
"Sure, what time?"
"Around," he pauses, "10:45 ish," he replied.
"But that's after curfew, we all have to be in our own rooms by that time." I state.
"Don't worry, we've done this since Sophomore year. Nothing to worry about," he promises.
"And I'll walk you over. It'll be fine." Cleo adds.
"I guess I'll come; who else will be there,".
"Jason, Me, Blake, Anna Grace, Zoey, Morgan, You, and Austin," Cleo explained.
I haven't talked to Austin since last week. Every time I see him, I just run away. And he somehow got my number (probably from Morgan) and has been trying to text me millions of times.
I ignored every single one. "So, we'll see you tonight?" Anna Grace inquired.
"Sure thing." the bell rings.
"And and one more thing," Jason adds.
"Do not tell anyone. We will get in serious trouble if Patel finds out." Jason declared.
I nod and walk away.
