Before he continued, I said to him, "Mr. Kim, I like you too, but not in that way. You're an amazing teacher and you inspire me so much. You are someone I aspire to be, but I already found the one for me. I'm so sorry, Mr. Kim." I said, bowing.

"Oh, it's fine. Things like this happen anyways. We should get going, now." He said as he wanted to stand up but I stopped him.

"Mr. Kim, can we just be back to normal? I know it must hurt, but I think it's better if you ignore those feelings and just enjoy life. Don't think about bad things. Let's just enjoy the rest of this dinner." I said as I picked up my chopsticks and fed him some beef.

He hesitated but smiled and listened to what I said.

I was about to get ready for the day when a bright light radiated in the corner of my eye.

I looked over and saw The Almighty, standing behind me.

I quickly combed through my hair and bowed.

He chuckled lightly and said, "You must've had a nice rest."

I just smiled and nodded.

"Good job, my child. You and Jimin has overcame one of the biggest trials in your life. Next one will be even bigger, sadly, but I'm sure the both of you can get through it like this one."

"Almighty, does it have to happen? Do I have to..." I said as I couldn't finish my sentence.

"I'm sorry, Jeon Y/N, but it has to happen. It's a promise your mother made, but don't hate her for it. She only wanted you to stay with her."

I picked my head up and smiled, "Of course, I wouldn't hate her. She's my mother after all."
