"What?"

Rey can barely comprehend what Iris has just said to her.

The woman had arrived only a few minutes ago, and what she'd deduced about the necklace had been concluded shockingly quick.

"This necklace was buried with Padme when she died," Iris tells her again. " Anakin gave it to her when he first met her."

"How is it here, then?" Rey asks, still dumbfounded.

"That, I don't know," Iris frowns. "Where did you find it?"

"Padme says she found it on a desk in my friend Jannah's house."

Iris shakes her head. "It still doesn't make sense..."

Rey watches as Iris walks away, a cloud of confusion about her.

Sighing, Rey pulls Padme up, carries her to the bedroom, and lays her down on the bed. After doing so, she sits down next to her.

"I guess this whole thing... is just a mystery," she tells her, smoothing the hair on Padme's head.

As if on cue, a miracle occurs.

A hazy fog occurs in the corner of the room, and Anakin Skywalker suddenly appears. Beside him is a blurry white cloud, whose facial features are just discernible enough for Rey to determine that Padme Amidala is here with them, too.

Anakin speaks, voice echoing around the room. "This necklace previously belonged to Padme; I gave it to her when I was small. It calls to her now."

Anakin points at Padme on the bed.

"Why?" Padme squeaks, looking from her Anakin to her namesake, to her mother and back again.

Padme Amidala speaks now. "We think it is because she is connecting to me. The people you saw in those scenes were Anakin and I... perhaps the Force wanted you to see us for what we were."

Padme slowly sits up. "But... why am I connected?"

"The force is bringing you to me; I do not know why," Padme Amidala answers.

"Oh. Can I keep the necklace?" Padme shrugs, brushing it off in a way that forces Rey to stifle a laugh.

"Well, of course you may!" Padme Amidala smiles. "I have a few other things for you on Naboo. When it is safe, you will find them in my old house."

Anakin looks at Rey. "Keep an eye on your daughter... things here are not as they seem."

Rey nods, watching as the two fade away.

Padme smiles and closes her eyes, exhausted from the entire ordeal.

Rey looks down at her fondly. She gets up, walking to the door, turning out the light as she walks away.

The next morning, everyone met in front of their homes in the complex and ate together- excluding the Mandalorian.

Rose seemed fascinated by this, and would continuously ask him questions such as, "Are you sure you're not hungry?"

His response was always, "If I am, I will go to my room to eat."

The next few days went smoothly, schedules being nothing more than waking up, eating, and going to bed again.

One morning, Rey decided something for herself and Padme.

"We can go back to Naboo now. Maz says she's checked it out, and apparentl, it was all safe," Rey chirps to her daughter.

Padme was more than ecstatic.

With that, everyone said their goodbyes, and Rey, Padme, Iris and Violet flew back to Naboo.
