part II ~ VII

Padme pov

You should've seen the look on their faces - it was priceless. Theo was happy, Connix was shocked, Finn was confused and Poe, well, ran up to her and gave her a big hug so I would say excited. Finn asked, "Wait! Do you know the gender?"

"Not yet but I think we will find out soon," I replied. To be honest, I hope it's a girl. Like boys aren't bad but I've always dreamed of having a little girl dressed in pretty dresses running around the house.

"When is the arrival date?" Connix questioned. "Well, we only found out a few days ago so around seven or eight months."

They didn't know what else to say so I stepped in by asking if they wanted anything to drink.

The rest of the day was boring really. Talking about the baby. Talking about their lives. And talking about random stuff that I don't even know what they were on about. Nothing then happened in the next few days. We saw a medical droid who told us everything we needed to do and that was it until we had a visitor that I wouldn't have expected.

It was Mando!

He came suddenly. I was just in my room with Sawyer when he rang the doorbell. This is how it went.....

Sawyer Pov

We were just chatting in her room when the doorbell rang. I say I would get it and do. A Mandalorian stood there with a creature in his hands. "Is this Rey's house?"

"Um well yeah, she's out at the moment but her daughter is here if you want her instead."

"Yes, that would be even better."I leave him at the door and call Padme down. "There's someone here for you!"

"Who?"

"A Mandalorian and a weird creature."

After I say that she comes rushing out of her room and running down the stairs and past me. I walk over to see her hugging him. I don't understand, he's a person who kills others for bounty, and they hate Jedi so why would he like her? They unlink and she asks, "Why are you here?"

"This one wants to see the baby"

Picking the creature up she says, "Well I'm sorry but It's not due for another seven months. You could stay here though, we have enough space."

"Thank you"

"Do come in and meet my boyfriend, Sawyer" She walks back letting him in and he gives me a slight nod. "Would you like to come in and I could get you something to eat that you can take to your room?"

"Thank you, something for him too." he points at the thing Padme is holding. "Go make yourself at home, Sawyer come help." He walks up the stairs and I presume to the guest room. Me and Padme get him a drink and snack and bring it up to him, the creature following us everywhere we go.

We leave him alone and I ask "How do you know him?"

"One sec, I need to get Violet."

"Ok, just leave me....on my own....with a stranger..." I barely finish the sentence and she's out the door.

She's out for a good fifteen minutes at least until I hear the door open and two very giggly girls. I walk over to see what the fuss is but I can't tell. Violet suddenly changes the subject and asks, "What's the surprise then?"

"Ok so, you know the time when we were kidnapped."

"How could you forget that?" She giggled for a second before Padme spoke. "Well...Mando is back!"

"Omg what!"

"He's in the guest room right now, with the child!"

"Omg can I see him?"
