Back in the hut.

"Do you know who I am?"

Rey and the Mandalorian ignore Rostom's question. They know he's just trying to get into their heads.

"I am your cousin, Rey; my dad is your uncle," Rostom smiles. "I am also Palpatine's grandchild."

Rey circles around him, staring into his evil red eyes.

"You too have Palpatine blood. We can finish what he started," Rostom beams, staring back at her.

Rey holds her lightsaber out again. "I've heard that once before, and it didn't appeal then, or now."

She slams her sabre against his. Meanwhile, the Mandalorian sneaks up behind him, as that's where the explosives are.

As this is all happening, Padme and Violet are safely playing with The Child.

"He looks like Yoda, but smaller and cuter," Padme remarks.

Violet looks at her and asks, "Who's that?"

"He was one of the most powerful Jedi to live. He was Luke's master. Even though he was small and old, he could do anything Luke could do and more," Padme answers.

"Wow, do you think this is his child? I've never seen anything like this before."

"Maybe, probably not though as he was extremely strict with the old Jedi code, meaning he couldn't have attachments."

Violet looks at the child and asks, "So, where did this one come from, then?"

"No clue. We can probably ask the Mandalorian when he comes back because it's his pet."

Violet nods contentedly.

Back to the main event: Rey's still fighting Rostom, and the Mandalorian is setting up explosives.

"Why don't you like your Grandpa?" Rostom asks mockingly during the duel.

"He killed my parents, my masters, and my love," she answers through the slashes of their sabres.

"You are... married?" Rostom asks her, creepily tilting his head.

Rey is fed up with this guy. She leaps through the air to corner him. Luckily she's placed him right next to the explosives.

The Mandalorian speaks first. "I won't let you make an orphan of their daughter. So, I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you in cold and, y'know, in tiny little exploded pieces."

Two minutes later

"Quickly! We need to jump to lightspeed," Rey shouts from the boarding ramp, prompting Violet, Padme and Iris to greet them excitedly at the ship's entrance.

Iris shouts back at her. "On it!"

She runs to the cockpit. Rey and the Mandalorian board and close the door.

They quickly make the jump to lightspeed, all heaving a sigh of relief.

Violet looks up at Rey, eyes wide. "So... did you guys... kill him?"

Rey frowns. "Um, that's not important."

Padme hugs her mother as soon as she gets out of her seat, nearly topping Rey over. Rey hugs her back.

"Are you two alright?" Rey asks. "Did he hurt you?"

"No, not really, it was just annoying in there because he kept asking questions about you and the resistance," Padme answers nonchalantly.

The Mandalorian suddenly speaks up. "We can't go back to Naboo for a while. They'll be expecting you. Do you have another place you think you'll be safe?"

Rey ponders for a moment. "We can stay with Lando and Chewie on Bespin."

The Mandalorian shakes his head. "Too many people, they might recognize you."

"We have some friends on Ajan Kloss."

This is apparently good enough for the Mandalorian, as he nods and readjusts the coordinates.

Iris shares a worried look with Rey.

Rey sighs. "I never apologized."

"For what?" Iris asks, holding Violet close to her.

"For dragging you into this. Violet could've-"

"It's alright. You couldn't have known."

Rey smiles at Iris, as Iris smiles back.

Once settling in on Ajan Kloss, little Padme is left alone in her and Rey's room. Curious, she starts to poke around the room.

She notices a gold necklace inside a box on the nightstand and, picking it up, she gets the urge to try it on.

Padme puts it around her neck.

She runs to the mirror to see what it looks like on her.

But... her reflection isn't there.

Instead, she sees two people sitting on a bench. A man and a woman.

She recognizes them.

The woman is wearing a dress, and the man is wearing Jedi robes.

The scene changes. The same woman is wearing a different dress, one that looked like the one Violet had given to her. The man was still sitting next to the woman, but this time the two of them were talking.

The scene changes again. The same woman was wearing a wedding dress and was now in front of the same man, possibly saying her vows.

The mirror goes black, a bright hue shimmering when the woman reappears, now laying down in a blue dress, holding the necklace Padme herself was now wearing.

The woman was in what looked to be a coffin, flowers flowing throughout her long brown hair.

Now Padme's been transported to what looks like a field. This time, the woman is sitting opposite a person that looks exactly like Padme. They are surrounded by others that she recognizes, like Rey and Violet.

And then everything goes black.
