Part II - I

I swear this has become less of a star wars fan fic and more of a story with the names of the star wars characters. 😂 Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

The next day

"Bye, I'll be back around three." Padme called from the front door.

"Ok. Have fun sweetie!"

She closed the door behind her and walked to the fields.

Padme pov

I walked to the field to meet Sawyer. It wasn't a long walk, around ten minutes I would say. My parents thought I was meeting one of my friends from the Jedi training place, they would go mental if they thought I was meeting a boy. Especially Dad, he would go all Kylo Ren on me, so I said I was meeting an old friend.

I finally arrived and saw Sawyer sitting o n the grass a few metres in front of me. I walked over and put my bag down and sat next to it.

He started talking the moment I sat down, "Nice dress."

"Thanks. It was Padme's. She wore it here with Anakin so I thought I would get some use out of it."

"Cool. Anyways, what I needed to tell you." I nodded and he finished, "you know Obi Wan Kenobi?"

"We've met a couple of times."

"He's my great-grandad. My grandad was his son and my mother was his granddaughter." I didn't expect that.

"Wow!"

"I needed to tell you in private because unlike you, I don't want everyone knowing."

"Not true. You did it so you can take me on a date. Am I right?"

"Maybe. So, did you bring the pears?"

"Of course, I never lie."

3rd person

They sat and talked for a couple of hours before Padme remembered, "I need to go, I promised I'd be back by three and that's ten minutes away." She stood up and Sawyer followed.

"Same time on Saturday?"

"Yeah, I can do that. Bye!"

She left with a big smile on her face.

When she arrived back home, she was greeted by Poe. "Oh hey. How did the lunch go?"

"Really good actually, we're meeting again on Saturday."

"Well have fun. Me, Theo and Finn need to go now but we will be back soon. Thank you and behave." She wrapped her arms around him and said, "I will, where's Uncle Finn and Theo?" He pulled back from the hug and gathered the last of his belongings "They are already on the freighter; I'll tell them you said goodbye." She smiled and opened the front door for him, "Thank you, bye!"

A few seconds later, Rey came down the stairs. "Did you have a nice time?"

"Um, yes. We are doing it again on Saturday. I'm going over to Violet's now."

"Ok, tell her and Iris that Kaydel is leaving after dinner so they need to say goodbye."

Halfway out the door she replied, "Will do." 

On Saturday

Padme arrived at the fields in another one of Padme's dresses. "You know, I prefer the one you wore on Wednesday. I don't like the bit on the sleeves and how its cold shoulder." She was slightly taken back by this. "Really? You do not disrespect her like that, and I like the sleeves." He laughed and said, "I'm kidding, I love it. Now come sit, I have food." She did so and once again, they sat and talked for a couple of hours.

Sawyer looked at the time and mentioned, "It's nearly three, do you need to go?" She replied, "No, my mum is busy all day and my dad, well..." She struggled for words.

"What?"

"Well, dead." He nearly choked on his food. "It's ok though. My mum and him have a Dyad in the force meaning he isn't fully dead until she dies so anyone with the force can see him normally."

"So, I could see him normally but not the guy on the milk stall in the market."

"Yes." She laughed and changed the topic, "Anyway, where's your family?"

"My dad trains younglings and my mum works in a Jedi library on Datooine. I rarely see them, but I don't mind." She bowed her head down and said, "I'm sorry for bringing it up." He lifted her chin up and said, "It's alright."

A few seconds later, it started chucking it down. Padme giggled and stood up. She dragged Sawyer up and he stared into her sparkling brown eyes. 

 "You know, you look cute wet." While ruffling his hair she said, "You don't look so bad yourself." Picking her up by the waist, he spun her around a few times, Padme enjoying every second. He lowered her down and wrapped his arms around her, with her doing the same. He stared down at her, switching between looking at her lips and looking at her eyes.

He caressed her cheek with one hand, the other still around her waist. Slowly, he leant in, kissing her passionately. After a few seconds, he pulled away and smiled, Padme following. She gave out a small laugh before running, to no where in particular, just running.

"You know, it's already four. We better get going."

She made her way back to him, picked up her belonging and exclaimed, "Last one back is a rotten egg." They took off and ran back to the market, Sawyer letting Padme win.

They arrived at the market and Sawyer asked, "Do you want to come round mine?"

"I'm sorry but I can't, I'm going round my friends."

"Monday?" She nodded her head then said, "I can do that." Sawyer pointed to his stall, "Meet me there around twelve, don't wear anything too fancy."
