"did you guys forget?"

you slowly wrapped up your stream, chatting with viewers and answering questions. once things started to wind down, you glanced at the chat and asked, "okay, guys... who should we raid?" scrolling through the list of everyone live, you weren't sure who to choose.

a few comments caught your eye. "you guys wanna watch fitz?" you asked, preparing to send everyone his way.

"alright, bye guys... i'll stream again soon!" you said quickly, shutting down your stream. with your pc off, water bottle in hand, you headed downstairs where swagger was already waiting.

"hey, y/n! we were just watching your stream!" he greeted.

you smiled, refilling your bottle. "did you... enjoy it?"

"of course! you're getting so much better at handling the weapons. we should play together next time you stream, double the content."

"i'm down for that! where did the rest of the guys go?" you plopped down next to him on the couch.

"they left. probably getting food," he shrugged.

"hey... is cam still streaming?" you asked, hoping for a casual heads-up.

"i think so, let me check," swagger said. you pulled out your phone and texted cameron a quick greeting, then scrolled through twitter while waiting for him to reply.

your feed was full of people freaking out, he was streaming with poki. streaming with other female streamers didn't bother you... but the shipping? that was a different story. it wasn't about her, it was about him. your boyfriend.

"he's streaming with poki," swagger finally said.

you glanced up at the tv, taking a quick moment to admire cam. he looked good, focused in-game, but the chat... the chat was a mess. shippers, fans asking where you were, and others trying to protect your relationship all at once.

then came the donation alert. "thank you for the $100 donation, but i shouldn't do that," cam said. you missed what it said and leaned toward swagger, shaking him.

"what did the donation say?"

"y/n, stop, please," he said with a breath. "they told fitz to call poki 'queen' the whole stream, but he refused."

you smiled but then another donation popped up: "how much do i have to pay you to call her queen?"

cameron sighed and shook his head. "what's going on over there?" poki asked.

"my chat... they're not respecting my relationship," he said. poki snickered, explaining that her chat had been shipping them too, but she was ignoring it.

"poki, i had fun, but i need a breather. we'll stream again soon, yeah?" cam said, exiting minecraft and switching to fullscreen.

"sounds good!" she replied, and with that, the call ended.

your phone buzzed. "i don't know if you were watching my stream, but if you were... i'm sorry," cam's text read. you smiled, knowing he meant it.

"damn... do you think he's gonna yell at his chat?" swagger muttered, intrigued. you chuckled.

cam wasn't usually serious about much, but when it came to you, it was different. he tried. he knew he couldn't make everything perfect, but he wanted to protect you. you were the only one he wanted to be shipped with, he didn't care what anyone else thought.

"i think you guys forgot i have a girlfriend of almost two years... because i sure didn't," he said, addressing the chat.

he sighed. "listen, i love you guys and appreciate the support, but you can't ask me to do those things when i have a girlfriend. she and i both don't like it. and i'm sure others don't either."

swagger lightly smacked your arm, shocked by the intensity of the moment.

"i'm going to go kiss my girlfriend now. see you when i see you," cam said, ending his stream and raiding another channel.

you turned off the tv and looked at swagger, both of you speechless. then cam's door opened. you caught sight of him coming down the stairs quickly, a soft smile on his face.

"hey, baby," he said, sitting next to you and pressing a sweet kiss to your lips, just like he promised he would.

you both tried to ignore swagger's fake crying in the background, but it was impossible.

"sorry about them..." cam said, worried.

you smiled, brushing it off. "it's okay. some will respect our relationship, and some won't. i was expecting that eventually... just not with any other female, of course," you joked.

he nudged you playfully and rested his head on your arm. "thank you for the raid," he whispered. you rolled your eyes, but the warmth in your chest made you grin.
