A Change of Heart(Dramione)

I find a nook in the castle by the Ravenclaw tower to hide in. It's a little room, probably for a house elf. I left the door open slightly. I pull my knees to my chest as tears roll down my cheeks. They roll off my chin, making little dots on my robe. I can't believe he did that. I can't believe anything right now. Draco is actually being nice to me and then Ron breaks up with me? I hear footsteps padding down the empty hall. I hide my face in my robes.
"Hermione?" It sounds like Draco. The little oak door is pulled open. I glance up enough just to see Draco crouching in front of me.
"I... I heard you and Ron broke up. You okay?"
"Once again Malfoy, why would you care." I say heartlessly. I see his cheeks turn a deep shade of pink. "Sorry." I grumble. He smiles slightly.
"It's okay. You don't understand why I'm here do you."
"Well... No." I shyly admit. He takes a deep breath, as if to prepare for a speech.
"Hermione, I like you." I blush. I get a fuzzy feeling inside. Do I actually have feelings for him? Or is it just because Ron and I broke up? I slightly grin.
"How do I know you aren't lying?"
"Mione, what would I gain out of lying to you?" He blushes and let's put a small smile. I laugh. He's cute when he smiles.
"I don't think I have ever seen you smile before!" I exclaim.
"Oh come on! I wasn't smiling!" He says as he smiles again, this time larger. I laugh. He's funny too.
"How come you are being nice to me now, but the other night you weren't?" He stops smiling and turns white.
"My friends were there. If they knew that I had a crush on a muggle-born, I would probably be beaten up. And they would win." He admits.
"That's okay." He grins and I do too.
"Come on. Let's go." I nod in agreement. He gently helps me out of the little room. "I'll take you back to your dorm." I smile. He takes my arm and escorts me there. I gasp. "Mione, what's wrong?"
"My classes! I forgot about them!" He laughs slightly.
"Don't worry. You can get your work later." I nod.
"Okay." He walks me back to my dorm slowly.
"Are you over Ron?" He asks rather abruptly.
"What? Oh.. I think so. We have been fighting a lot over the past weeks." Draco lets out a sigh of relief. I laugh. "I never thought you would ever be nice to me and be interested in me."
"Come on Mione! Anybody who thinks you aren't pretty, or smart, or amazing is an idiot!" I blush and smile. Suddenly we are back at my dorm.
"Thanks Draco, for everything." I smile.
"The pleasure is mine, Miss Granger." I giggle.
"See you Draco."
"See you my lady." I giggle and get into my dorm. I never thought he could be such a gentleman! I run into my room and jump on my bed. I stare at the ceiling replaying everything he said. I think I actually like him.
