Kakyoin x Reader: Cherry Incident

You walked along the sidewalk, currently on your way to school. You did this everyday, but it was always one of the best parts of it. Why? Your best friend Kakyoin would always come out and walk with you when you passed by his house. Today was the same, you passed by, slowing your pace a bit so he'd see you when he came out. "(Y/n)-chan!" You smiled, stopping your footsteps as you turned around to see the red headed boy running towards you, his bag clutched tightly in his hands, and his single curl bouncing up and down. Once he finally caught up with you, he put his hands on his knees and panted a bit. "You walked farther than you did yesterday, I thought you were gonna leave me this time!" he exclaimed in a joking tone of voice.

You rolled your eyes playfully. "C'mon, you know I wouldn't do that," you stated. He smiled, making you smile. "Well, I suggest that we get going before we're late!" Kakyoin said as he started to walk ahead of you. You quickly followed next to him, continuing your walk to hell, chatting with Kakyoin the whole time.

"Man, that was boring!" you said to yourself, yawning as you stretched your arms out. "Oh, was it?" You nearly screamed, jumping away from the noise in fear. You quickly turned around to see that it was Kakyoin, and he was now chuckling like a little kid. You furrowed your eyebrows and punched him lightly in the arm. "Don't scare me like that!" "Sorry! Sorry! I won't do it again," he replied, wiping away imaginary tears. "Whatever, should we start walking now?" you asked, ready to get going. He nodded, and the two of you started to head back to your houses. "Hey (Y/n)-chan, you wanna hang out at my place for a bit?" You turned your head to look at Kakyoin before smiling. "Sure! Let me tell my mom." You pulled out your phone and texted your mom saying that you'd be at Kakyoin's for a bit. As usual, there was no response. You placed your phone back in your pocket and continued to talk with your friend until you reached his house.

"We're here!" Kakyoin exclaimed, cutting you off from saying whatever you were about to say. "Finally!" you yelled. He laughed at your comment, and started heading for the front door. He slid it open, and took off his shoes, placing them by the door as he walked inside. You, of course, did the same, not wanting to be rude. "My parents aren't usually home at this hour, since they have work," Kakyoin stated, answering your question of why it was so quiet when you came in. You'd been to Kakyoin's house before, so you did the usual and headed straight to his room. He chuckled after seeing you go for that right away. "Alright I guess. Wait for me though, Imma get some cherries," he said, walking into the kitchen. You said nothing as you walked into his room, sitting where you usually sat, which was right in front of the TV he had. You and Kakyoin always liked to watch movies until on of his parents came home, in which case you'd leave after that happened.

Your thought process was interrupted as you heard Kakoyin come into the room and take his usual sitting spot next to you. He had a bowl filled to the brim with cherries in it. You raised an eyebrow before looking up at him. "There's no way you can eat all of those," you stated, pointing at the bowl. He looked back at you with a determined expression. "Watch me." "Okay," you replied, resting your face on your hand. This was sure to be something worth watching.

He quickly put a cherry in his mouth, and began..... licking it..? 'Wait.. WHY IS HE LICKING IT?!' you thought to yourself. You watched his mouth as he moved his tongue all around the cherry, covering it in his saliva. You let out a tiny cough before looking at the ground, your face as red as one of the cherries. He noticed your discomfort, and raised a brow. "(Y/n)-chan, are you okay?" he asked, FINALLY chewing the cherry and swallowing it. You waved your hands in front of your face, turning even redder. "N-NOTHING! It's nothing!" You basically screamed those words, making Kakyoin even more concerned. "Hmm.... Is it the way I'm eating..?" he questioned, an 'I'm sorry' look on his face. "N-No! That's not- Yes, it is." You knew that you couldn't lie to him, so you instantly gave up and just told the truth.
