Melissa POV
She was gone.
I shook her, and shook her, but no response. She had fallen asleep, and gone.
I couldn't help but cry. Tears I had never cried before slid down my cheeks. My knees were weak. I collapsed on the ground, praying for her to come back but I knew that it was too late.
I yelled for Ellie's mom, who came rushing into the room. I guess you know what happened next.~тняєє ωєєкѕ ℓαтєя~
Life as I know it will never be the same. Every morning I sit by the fireplace drinking my coffee in remorse. Staring out into space. Anybody who talks to me I never reply. I can't. I just can't. What is life anymore? I missed the Ulysses S. Grant Highschool Halloween party, I'm thinking about missing prom. Who will I go with anyways?
I've seen Jackson around, but he also will never be the same again. He went back to college after the funeral to continue his studies.Depression.
It will forever be embedded in your mind. The past will always chase you, but you have to choose to run from it, or learn from it.
No happy thought can push, the sadness away. Hapiness is a treatment, but not a cure.

A/N
I kept my promise to update today.
Sorry for the sad ending. But we all saw it coming.
Also I apologize for the shortest chapter in history but yeah. About the prologue I decided that it's useless. So I didn't make it.
