Ellie POV
I lie in bed with Jackson. His arms wrapped around me. It's 1:03 am as the clock clearly states.
Jackson is already sleeping. I can't sleep. Every time I close my eyes they flip open again. The sounds of the cars honking and ambulance sirens everywhere aren't helping either.
New York is also very bright. I swear to God if you catch a glimpse of the corner of a window light flows in like it's day time. I got confused a lot of times.Jackson awakens.
I pretend to sleep but I didn't fool him at all.
I forgot. I wasn't wearing my wig. My heart starts beating fast. Surprisingly Jackson wasn't surprised.
But to answer what he was thinking I said,"I went into remission when I was fourteen. But I didn't last even two years. I relapsed about two months after I turned 15."
"I'm sorry..."
"Don't be. It's just something in life some people have to go through. A disease Plus I hate pity."
I wipe away a tear.
Jackson try's to cheer me up by making common white girl jokes."Omg is it like contagious?" He says in that voice while scooting to the edge of the bed.
"Like sorry it kinda is. Too bad you kinda drank from my Starbucks today so ur like infected... Yaaaaa." I reply back.
"Omg ewwww get it off me."
I start laughing and I smack him with my pillow.
We "fight" for a few minutes, when I roll on top of him and he pulls me into a kiss.

Melissa POV
I can't sleep. I stay up all night watching How I Met Your Mother trying to take my mind off of things.
I tried calling to apologize more than 14 times a day but she won't pick up.
I can't believe she chose him
I mean seriously who stayed by her side all this time? Not Jackson because she only knew him for a week. I'm happy for her. I really am, but it can't go that far.At least I know she's at his place right now.
The statue of liberty trip was amusing.
I took many pictures and I even went up to the crown. But it was really hot and I could barley stand it. The green of the statue was the most intriguing. It is its greatest asset probably.
Sure it represents freedom but the green is the most admirable thing about it.It's just so interesting and mind twisting, how bronze can turn green over time.
But after the Statue of Liberty visit I didn't do a lot. I went shopping at Aeropostale, Forever XXI (21) and an Armani Exchange store which we all know I didn't get anything at. Come on. Armani exchange is to expensive. Get real.
After that I took a few drinks at some bars, (and by a few I mean a LOT.) Now what am I doing? Going up the elevator to Jackson's apartment.
Trust me if he opens the door all hell will break loose.I'm a tough girl.
