Melissa POV

A tear ran down my cheek as I watched Ellie disappear into the surgical room. I wanted to catch up, but she was too far. And besides, I don't want to burst into tears, in front of her. She would just tell me to calm down and that its going to be alright. I envy her bravery. How does a dying girl accept that she is... dying? I am in deep thought when I remember, there is a room in the floor above, that you can look into surgery while its going on. Doctors usually go in there to watch and study procedures but parents are allowed so why not patients? i know this because of Ellie's obsession of with House M.D.

I turn around and take a right towards the elevator. As soon as I get there I press the up button multiple times.

I walk into the over looking room but I figure I am in the wrong room since a heart transplant, is going on. I walk out into a hall and I open another door leading to the liver transplant room. I pushed through a group of doctors and press my face to the cold glass. my breath creates a fog, and as I breathe out and the fog extinguishes as I breeze in. I'm normally squeamish but I am doing this for Ellie. I came just in time to watch. Doctors, cut out a piece of her moms liver, and The unhealthy part from Ellie's liver. I am getting intrigued , but one of the doctors ruins it for me.

"Excuse me patients aren't allowed in this room. Only doctors and close fam-"

Starts a man in a white coat, black, and square rimmed glasses, and a coffee mug. A doctor.

"I'm her sister." I lie. My stomach feels queasy. It always does when I lie.

"Patients are at high risk to infect the patient ma'am."

"THAT'S ABSURD. YOU CAN INFECT THE PATIENT. I thought doctors were smart but I guess you are all just dumb asses! And I hope you realize, because if you don't hat would be awfully alarming, but there is a huge layer of glass! So stop making things up!" I yell clearly infuriated.

"Excuse me? That language will not be used when talking to an adult!"

"Go to hell, you're not my mom." I say narrowing my eyes.

I pull away from him and press my face onto the glass again.

"SECURITY!" he yells.

Two big men come and grab my arms. I immediately start thrashing around and yelling.

"YOU PEOPLE ARE CRUEL! LET ME GO OR I WILL SUE YOU SORRY!" I twist around and punch one of the guards in the face. He yells in pain. I have bony knuckles. Then I bite the other one's arm. Yes I know you think it's gross, but do you have any other defense plan?

"Ow!" says the man letting me go to hold his own hand in pain. Since I am set free, I march up and slap the stuck up doctor in the face. The force is so hard on him that he stumbles back into one of the other doctors, spilling coffee everywhere, and his glasses are now in the ground. I triumphantly smile. I notice every doctor is now staring at me, and spread out as far away from me as possible. Even the surgeons pause to stare. I brush my hair out of my face, and I walk out.

I am going towards the elevator just passing the heart transplant room. Then I feel a cold dry hand grab my hands behind my back.

Dylan. Then I feel another hand hold my shoulder and poke me with something. I turn around to see what happened, and who it was that poked me but my vision slowly escapes.
