//wow an early update

Okay, so now there was no dust, no leaves and no insects or webs in the corners, which was good, but they didn't have light, which was not good. Karlie stumbled in the almost dark cabin, finding her bag and rummaging in it to get her sleeping clothes -the same ones she used normally, but clean- and knocked loudly in the bathroom door, ridden with impatience. That was another thing, anyone would think that with no warm water, people would shower quickly. Taylor, obviously, didn't follow common sense.

"Taylor hurry your ass up!" Karlie knocked again, but she knew it was fruitless. She should have just gone first.

"You're such a pain, Karlie!" Taylor yelled back, even though it was muffled by the door and the sound of running water, she could perfectly distinguish the bad tone in the blonde's voice. Karlie swore under her breath, already assuming she would have to manage in pitch black dark. She sunk in her bed and stared at the window in front of her, the moon shone weakly behind the trees, the sky still purplish after the last sunset lights, but not enough to be of any use inside the cabin. They really needed to sort this electricity issue. Her eyes lowered to the bed in front of her. Another problem. That mattress was inefficacious to say the least, as the raccoons had done irreparable damage. They had pulled out the stinky mattress, tossing it over the edge of the high porch. Now it was at the bottom of the stairs, tomorrow they would take care of taking it back to the camp, but that was the problem of future Karlie, not her. In front of where she was lying, was the useless and nude structure where the mattress used to be. She sighed, realizing again that they had to sort things out with the only bed they had, and Karlie guessed she wasn't going to like the result.

The bathroom door opened crackly, snapping Karlie back to reality and leaving that problem to future Karlie too -she was starting to overload that Karlie with her issues, but how cared? not her, obviously- because she had another issue to sort in that moment "Took you long enough, what were you doing, a whole body lifting?"

"I just wanted to stay as far away from you the longest time possible" Taylor deadpanned, but Karlie knew her well enough to know she wasn't serious. Karlie grunted, happy for once that she couldn't see her face, taking her clothes harshly and walking to where she supposed was the bathroom.

She stopped in front of Taylor, narrowing her eyes at the silhouette. She was already dressed, a simple loose tank top and shorts "You wasted all the light time"

"What a shame" Taylor mumbled as she walked away, loud enough to be heard by Karlie.

"Shut up, now I have to shower in the dark" Karlie couldn't see her, but she could swear that Taylor had rolled her eyes at the best, made a silent mock at the worst.

Taylor sighed dramatically "Wait"

Karlie turned around, more for curiosity at what stupidity Taylor might say than anything else, but a bright, disturbing flash light burned her eyes, making her hand fly to her face to yield the sudden attack "The fuck!?"

"Ups, why were you looking-"

"Because you called me, maybe!?" Karlie grumbled, as a big circle of void formed in the middle of her visual field, no matter if she closed her eyes or not.

"Okay, okay now drama queen" She heard Taylor coming closer, then she felt the reassuring pats she gave her in the shoulder, that were anything but comforting. Karlie yanked her hand away with a snarl "Hey, tiger, calm down or you'll shower in the dark, I don't even care that much"
