The Rat In The Car

Your POV
It was late at night and you were tossing and turning in your bed. Sleepless nights were rare and you didn't know what to do about it. You tried everything from drinking warm milk to counting sheep, but it all seemed hopeless. You rolled around again and closed your eyes. They then popped right back open after a few seconds. You groaned and then sat up and brought your knees to your chest. It was quiet except for your breathing and noises outside? You threw the covers off and walked to your window. You peaked in between the blinds and saw figure on the hood of your car. You gasped a little because it looked human. You threw on the nearest hoodie and a pair of slippers quickly. You grabbed the heavy duty flashlight sitting on the counter near the back door. You turned it on and stepped outside. The cold night air hit you and you shivered a little. You hear more noises and you slowly walked towards your car. You inhaled a deep breath and then shone the flashlight on the car. The figure was some dude wearing a gas mask and a jumpsuit. He was clearly not a mechanic because parts of your car were laying on the ground. The hood was popped up and his hand was pulling something out. He then turned to face the light and hissed.
"What the fuck!" You shouted.
The guy jumped off your car and ran into the near by forest. You sighed at the thought of the cost of the damage. Car parts were everywhere. You shook your head and walked back inside.
The next morning you were watching the local news. There was a special report on some person ruining cars. The news anchor described the person and you gasped a little. It was the same dude you saw last night. Apparently you weren't his first victim. You ran outside and shook your fist in the direction of the woods.
"FUCK YOU SID WILSON!" You shouted.
Your neighbors were passing by and they had to cover their children's ears.
