Victorias POV

I stare into his eyes of Sam, it's light brown glow dimmed but still shining none the less, his smile on while he sits on the edge of the bench.

I hear a light ding from my phone, the call probably disconnected. Why cant I look away?

I try to move so that he'll get a better place to sit or rest but he holds my leg in place, a nod that I stay rested.

It takes a while for me to register his meaning but not too long and I relax once again.

He hands me a brown paper bag its contents already spilling out the delicious aroma. "Consider this my apology," he says as I take it and open the bag already reaching for the burger in it.

"I love you, I really do," I say putting the food in my mouth already knowing his reaction.

You're welcome, he says with a smile probably thinking that what I said was just an over the top thank you. Sometimes I wish you'd just know what I meant a little more.

Deciding not to waste more time, I chewed more on to my food while he spoke and savor if its delicious taste.

After about three minutes, I down the contents of the bag and he looks at me with a smile before laughing lightly, the animated chuckle bringing a smile to my face.

"Hey what's so funny?" I ask. He takes out a tissue from his pocket and wipes against my lips softly with it before showing me it's now red-stained self.

"You've always been a messy eater you know, it's nice to see that you still haven't changed."

My cheeks flare red with embarrassment and he just tilts his head slightly to the side like they do in anime for no apparent reason.

Composing myself, I stand up and stretch my hand the car parked not so far off. Shall we?

He nods with a smile before giving me his hand. I smack it away lightly his brow rising, I can get on my own.

He raises his hands in mock surrender and I just roll my eyes with a little glare at him getting up as we walk to the car.

"Why you ask me to wait over here for you? Seems like an odd place," I say gesturing to the house that seems completely random to me.

"Well I don't want you to walk far, this place is a little bit closer to where I would take so I thought why not?"

"So... you're saying you were thinking about me?" I ask, hoping that hed say something like a pick-up line for once in his life or something.

"Well of course I would, I care about you a lot," there he goes being all sweet again turning my insides into jelly. I sigh mentally, at least he cares for me a lot.

"That and we both know you can't really walk that far." I stare at him with an accused wide mouth and place my hand on my chest, Ouch, I whine and he just laughs in return.

We arrive at the car before I can say anything and he opens it for me and I take a seat, "Thank you, butler, you might get a raise this week," I say and he rolls his eyes shaking his head lightly before closing the door.

He bends down and looks at me through the window and brings his hands together as it in prayer or that Namaste, kind of greeting, and I nudge on his nose.

His gold watch together with his shirt with two buttons open and trousers and sneakers giving off this business casual look of power get simplicity.

"Still hungry?" he teases and I realize that I am biting my lip. Did I really just?!! I cover my mouth in embarrassment and just look to the road.

With a chuckle, he walks to the drivers seat. He puts the keys into the ignition and off we go at a steady pace.

"Don't worry had a feeling you wouldn't eat well this morning so there's some breakfast ready at home," and my mouth just drops but luckily it's still covered, mixed emotions flooding me.

Whats that supposed to mean? I manage to get out.

Looking calm as ever he utters, Had a feeling you might be somewhat anxious and you wouldnt really think much about food than your grade. He says and I end up nodding lightly at his judgment.

"At least now you'll get something to eat before you have your dance class," "it's not a dance class I already know how to dance," I fire back the lie that I've been telling myself for a while.

He simply shrugs, "Who knows maybe I may give you a tour of the house so that you don't get lost, it is your first time," he says his cute smirk and thought of having him to myself alone sends a few thoughts through my head.

"I knew you were more than a chauffeur," I tease. With his wealth, he'd probably have one but since he's driving me he'll be mine for today. "That reminds me I haven't received this month's pay."

As dumb as it is I smack him on the arm but neither he nor his arms budge the slightest eyes fixed on the road but occasionally sending me a few glances.

I glare at him lightly, "You'll get it when you do your job," I bite back and he just laughs a little more, the contagious nature of him laughing spreads to me and so do I.

"Music?" He asks pointing to the radio. For once, okay maybe not once but still, he already turns on the radio reading my answer before I can stretch my hand to do so.

"If you want something specific check the compartment drawer, got some CDs in," I almost tell him what is on before I realize, it won't hurt to see his taste in music.

"Might find something you like more," he lets out once again just when my fingers reach it, "What makes you think that my music taste is like yours?" I challenge.

"I don't know really, just that I've got a lot of different songs," he says sounding a little bit boastful.

I open the drawer to find three cases each containing a good amount of CDs. My brow shoots up and I look at him and he just grins like any typical boy would and damn it's cute.

"Really one direction?" I ask a little shocked that he'd have this. He scratches the back of his head with his left hand and a little smile on his face making him look childish and I can't take my eyes away.

"Well honestly they aren't mine, just that the owner gave them to me to keep since he doesn't use a car anymore," he admits and I guess it makes more sense.

"And who is this mystery man who will listen to all these songs?" I ask pushing my hair behind my neck. "I think you know him."

"Why would you say that?" I ask confused. The only one who I would know and is close to him would be Joana and she's definitely not a boy so it'll have to be...

"The only person who listens or listened to all these songs even One Direction is Bryan," and I gag.

"Why him of all people" I state in disdain at the rude snobbish and definitely not typical him.

"Don't like him?" He asks more curious than I expected.

"Of course I don't I mean he's rude, drives off in the middle of a conversation, does what he likes and my grade depends on his mood, so yes I don't like him," I say crossing my arms over my chest and sinking more into my seat grateful that my seat belt isn't on.

"Good, he's trouble and you don't need that," he says, some childhood friendship, I say inwardly.

Its just the truth, I know him and he can be trouble if you want an easy life best not to get too close. Yeah, I guess.

He shifts back to his normal look, something between happy, bored, and tired.

The rest of the car ride continues with a few talks here and there on completely irrelevant topics and when we pass by his party house I can't help but feel a sad-happy smile come to my face of the place I fell in love with him.

After a few minutes he parks in front of a gate, it's black and high metallic bars and golden tips with bright yellow eagles adorning the pillars holding it. "We're here."
