Always and Forever

Four

It was christmas eve morning. I woke up to texts off draco asking if i was good, i ignored them and fell back asleep. By the time i woke up again it was noon and there was a note laying on my floor. It read:

To y/n White,
Meet me at the top of the astronomy tower as sun sets, its christmas eve, you deserve to have a happy day and after yesterday i think you deserve this even more, wear something nice.

He would always write 'love' before his name in his letters to me. It was cute but he said to wear something nice. i dont have anything nice so i send my parents a quick text asking them to drop off something nice. An hour after the text was sent a parcel turned up for me, i opened it and there were three choices. A light green skin tight dress with spaghetti straps, a red sparkly tight dress with a patterned back or a black v neck dress that poofs out at the bottom.

I ended up picking the black one as Draco is always in black meaning they would match, i put on my black glittery heels and straightened my hair. I grabbed my phone and walked over to the astronomy tower, after walking for what felt like a decade i finally got to the top. Black rose petals laid everywhere and there was a picnic blanket with food on set nead the edge. I saw the boy rise to his feet before kissing my hand like you would do if you attended a formal party i bowed at him and then sat on the blanket and looked off the edge at the snow falling.

"its nice isnt it, i come up here all the time" Draco told me and i nodded, he put his hand on top of mine which made me grin from ear to ear. If you looked at draco you would expect his touch to be cold but its was actually warm. We sat there for a few hours talking and eating, it was now pitch black outside so we decided to head back to the common room completely forgetting we had planned a party. We walked in with our arms linked, everyone was in nice clothes but me and draco stood out as we were wearing something you would wear on a date. People looked at us but didnt dare to say anything as they were scared.

"Really, we broke up yesterday and now your on a date with Malfoy!" i heard blaise yell and looked at him dead in the eyes and shook my head.

"No blaise we wasnt on a date" i said but i was kind of unsure myself if it was a date or not "we were hanging out, were best friends. Thats what best friends do."

That stupid 'friends' word again. i get were only 13 but i like y/n and feel comfortable around her. Everyone around us can see that i want to be with her but shes completely delusional

i sighed and let go of draco, walking over to a table where a few people were playing spin the bottle, i saw what they were doing and yelled for people to join in and soon enough there was a whole table of people. We got started and eventually it was my turn, i span the bottle and everyone tapped the table in excitement to see who it lands on. i followed the way the bottle was pointing and saw draco staring at me, i walked over to him and that earned looks from everyone.

" a games, a game right?" i said before leaning in and kissing him. It was no longer than a 5 second kiss but it filled the duos hearts with warmth, after pulling away their faces stayed a few inches away from the other.

" a game is a game" he responded before moving his head away, of course he didnt want their first kiss to be over a game but he wasnt complaining because he kissed the y/n white. It was then his turn to spin the bottle and it landed on pansy, he gave me a disgusted look and i knew he wanted help

"10 seconds till christmas" I chanted and went and stood by draco. Everyone was counting down from 10 and then yelled merry christmas. I saw luna doing a spell of some sort before walking to us.

"look, mistletoe. Its bad luck if your under it and dont kiss anyone" she spoke softly, so thats what she was doing. I look up to draco, it wasnt a big height difference because of my heels.

"you dont want bad luck now do you Malfoy" blaise spat at him and before draco said anything back i just kissed him, it was longer this time and more passionate. The only people who saw it was blaise and pansy, both of them went red with anger, i ignored them and pulled draco to where everyone was dancing. My back was facing him and he wrapped his arms around my waist from the back his hands were gently placed on my lower stomach. I stepped back into him a little and swayed from side to side to the music and he hid his head in the crook of my neck. We knew Blaise and Pansy were watching from afar but that wasnt the reason we were dancing like this, we danced like this because it felt natural. Soon enough Pansy came storming over and slapped my cheek, everyone heard and turned to face us, Draco removed his head from my neck but kept his hands around my waist. I quickly got out of Dracos grip and grabbed pansy by the hair and put my wand to her neck.

"you already know ive used an unforgivable curse once, what makes you think i wont do one on you" i whispered to her and she gulps "now lwave, if i see you or Blaise down here before we have to be down for food i wont hesitate" i remove my wand and she runs to blaise before running to he room. The tension grew and people became more scared of her even though they dont know what i said. "carry on" i yelled and people went back to dancing and drinking. Draco pulls me to him making sure i was facing him, he put his hands on my lower back and i wrapped my arms around his neck, he swayed us side to side a little. Everyone slowly left and in an instance we were alone in the common room.

"we better get some sleep love, after all it is christmas which means sharing presents" Draco said while placing a gentle kiss on my forehead and i nodded. He walked me to my room and kissed my cheek. "goodnight love"

"goodnight Draco" i blushed more and walked in my room. I changed into a silky red pyjama set and headed to sleep.
