My mouth almost dropped to the floor i was so shocked."My family is alive?" i say my voice just barely audible. "As far as i know, Everyone followed orders." "Except you." "Except me" Mikhail said with a grim look on his face. "I have to find them!" I started to get up but Mikhail pushed me back onto the stump. "NO." He says firmly. "What do you mean no?!" Finally when i think i cannot hold my breath in anymore i hear a soldier cry out. "All clear." "Thank you for your patience sir now move along." That familiar voice says then i realized who it was. It was Deverenko. The man that used to carry me and who i thought was a good an loyal friend. But as soon as Papa abdicated he left us and was very rude to Mama in the end.The truck's rumbling jerks me out of my thoughts once again after a few minutes i decide it's safe to come out. "Are you alright?" Mikhail says from up front. But before i can reply i see a girl running after our truck screaming with tears running down her face. "Stop the truck" I order. "We must help her." "NO" Mikhail says firmly. "She could be a spy for all we know." I quickly think of a lie that could get him to stop the truck. "She is my cousin." And he immediately stops the truck.
