Above: Nicholas And His Family On The Standart Circa 1905
"Nikki Nikki wake up!" I woke up to Anna poking me and whispering me name. "What happened?" I said as i bolted upright in my seat looking around wildly for the guards. "You fell asleep and i had to wake you up because we're almost there." Thank God it was just a dream. I think to myself as the train slows to a halt in the station. As we are getting off the train there is no man whispering things to me if there was i would have died of fright. And as we got our tickets to board the ship there was no ticket boy yelling for guards. Everything went smoothly and we boarded the ship with ease and then all of a sudden Anna gripped my arm and pointed to someone on the ship her face was white as a sheet."What what is it Anna?" i said quickly. "I-i thought that woman was Alix. I'm sorry Nikki." She said her head downcast. "No it's alright Anna." I say to her quickly so she can feel better. But inside i am breaking for my sunny. It will take a total of two days to get to Crimea and since no one else will be boarding i can finally relax and grieve properly. I know i can never truly relax and i will spend the rest of my life looking over shoulder. But at least it's a start. Soon there came a knock on the door and when i opened it i almost had a heart attack. 'Sunny?" I whisper. "I'm sorry?" The woman asks. Oh she must be the woman Anna saw on deck it's amazing how much they look like each other. "I'm sorry you just look like someone i knew long ago. Did you need something Miss?" I ask rather in amazement. "Miss Dermidov. And i believe you dropped this." She said rather Briskly and handed me an icon of saint Patrick which i was carrying. "Thank you very much Miss Dermidov." I say with a smile. "Of course it's the good christian thing to do." She says with a smile back. After she leaves a few hours go by with nothing eventful happening. Then as the sun is setting i decide to take a walk around the deck and i saw Miss Dermidov standing at the stern i walk over to her and say."Good evening Miss. Nice evening isn't it?" I ask placidly. "It is a very nice evening." She says with her scarf blowing around in the soft sea breeze. All of a sudden she locked eyes with me and our lips were drawn together as if a force was pulling them.
