Sunlight peaked from the windows of the house forcing you to flutter your eyes open. You glance around the house, noticing it was not cold, not loud- just in general a peaceful bliss. Grace shuffled a bit gradually waking up. She was a little princess the way she slept- even if her hair was a mess and her mouth was wide and agape. Jefferson, on the other hand, with a serene look in his face, slept as well. Brushing the hair out of Grace's face- you noticed something that nearly made your heart melt. Jefferson's fingers were intertwined with your own, as though he'd held them throughout the night.

You smiled delicately at yourself when finally Grace grunt, glancing in your direction and grinned lazily, "Good morning," she murmured.

"Morning to you too, darling," You tittered, pulling strands out of her face. "Did you sleep well?"

"Better than ever," she laughed, shifting over to her father's side and poking at his cheek. "Papa- papa wake up."

Jefferson groaned and blinked slothfully with a smile lingering upon his lips, "Yes, love?" He asked, mopping his face.

"We have to go to hunting today," she said, sitting up on her knees.

"Oh really?" The girl nodded to your response, "Mind if I tag along? I don't have much to do today."

"That shouldn't be a problem," Jefferson muttered, sitting on the edge of the bed. He arched over and rubbed his eyes, yawning quietly to himself before Grace glomped him from behind. Finding that quite adorable, you joined her and fiercely attacked him with a hug. The room was filled with laughter, even Jefferson, the one nearly choking with arms around him, managed to burst into a cackle. Eventually, he collapsed onto both of you, turning all shades of red.

"Ah! Papa!" Grace broke into uncontrollable laughter as her father tickled her. "S-Stop!"

"Oh God, I can smell your morning breath." He taunted.

"Oh stop that, Papa," Grace blushed, giggling as she shoved her father to the side. "I'm going to get dressed. Be ready to leave when I'm back papa," she demanded in her feeble way before skipping off.

You laughed under your breath, crawling towards the end before a pair of hands grasped you by the waist and terrifying swung onto the bed. You let out a shriek and before you knew it, you were pinned beneath Jefferson. "Shhh, don't dare make a sound." He cooed, glancing around guardedly.

"Get off- Grace might find us in mere second," you whispered demandingly.

"Then let's not dwell on chatting, shall we?" he smirked deviously, kissing you urgently in small intervals. You kissed back, earning more lust from him. This is how the two of you have been since when you expressed your feelings towards each other. Of course, since that day you swore to never do the deed with Grace still around. It just wouldn't be right for you to not be her mother and be so intimate with her father. Grace, however, really couldn't care less. She knew you were worthy of taking her mother's spot and nothing could possibly change that.

Obviously, that hog hadn't proposed to you yet. Grace had been feeding your imagination that he had plans for you, yet nothing was put into action.

Jefferson, though, was fond and loving of you. It was like he'd never loved and that was one reason you allowed him to give you a gentle touch. He knew his boundaries, so, truly, you did trust him.

"Um... papa?" Grace's voice cracked into the silent room like a whip. Jefferson immediately pulled away, in a blushing mess, planning to scramble away before his daughter saw more of him. Of course, he collapsed on you.

Jefferson, that big goof.

Eventually, you groaned lowly and shoved him off of you and sat up, finding the heat rising to your cheeks as well. "What can I do for you, love?"
