Disheveled black hair.

Hazel orbs.

Freckled face.

They were all so familiar- but truth is, he is familiar. "Grike?" You huffed the poisoned name.

"You know him?" Jefferson asked abruptly, edging towards your side.

"Of course, mate. More to say, we'll know each other better during the deal." The young boy said, fixing the collar of his leather trench coat. He looked nothing like a savage hunter no, longer.

"(Y/N), Jefferson. I'd like you to meet Grike Franando, right hand man to the infamous Captain Hook." Regina grinned smugly.

Your breath was fading into the distance, "You lied to me..."

"Not really lie- more like- left out valuable information." The boy smirked, joining the Evil Queen's side.

"What the hell do you want from us?" Jefferson asked sternly.

"Simply dealing is all, my friend. You'll be off soon with your daughter once it's all done."

"Grike and I have agreed on some- settlements. We don't want too much trouble from you, in all honesty."

"Cut to the chase Regina, what is the deal?" You retorted.

The slender woman became rigid at your sudden threatening voice but her face grew dominate again. She paced towards her dresser, gleaming into your reflection in the mirror with a sly gaze. "I'm sure you're aware of the boy's part of it."

You suddenly stopped dead in your tracks, your clenched fists growing pale. "No. I won't do it."

"Wait- I don't know what you're talking about." Jefferson interrupted. "What is she talking about, (Y/N)?"

"It's- nothing..."

"Oh it's something," Grike chuckled sinisterly.

You about to depart when Jefferson's meaty hand grasped at your arm and swung you towards him. Distance was merely centimeters from diminishing. His blue orbs were locked firmly upon you, a sense of authority yet concern surging over them. "Are you hiding something from me?" He asked, almost draining the rest of your breath away.

"I'm not afraid of anything..." You garbled.

He furrowed his brows, "What does that have to do with anything-"

"But he swore he won't let Grace go unless I hand myself over."

Jefferson's expression softened. "For- Hook?"

"Actually, no. The Captain doesn't know I'm making the deal. I'd like to give him the Dark One's daughter as a late- birthday gift."

"Not in a million years." Jefferson snarled, stepping before you defensively.

"Then your daughter's life is on the-"

"Though, I suppose I can bypass a certain degree of a counter deal." The Queen requested.

"What!"

"What counter deal?" Jefferson muttered, as though he were near the state of considering the witch's trap.

"Privacy would be nice, wouldn't it?" Regina asked, gawking towards you. Your limbs tensed, understanding she still had a jar of mischief within her blackened heart. And within a snap of a finger, violet dust swerved around you, surging over your vision and entrancing you for a moment as it transported you back to the dungeon where Grace sat wearily.

"Mama?" She called, reaching through the cell bars for your hands.

"Grace!" You called, sliding on your knees, holding the precious child.
