"I see you're working hard." Hyejin chuckled at the sight of the girl coming back in messy uniform and a few scratches on her arms as well as her trying to catch her breath, "How's being under Byulyi?"

"Exhausting.." She half joked about it. "But its... bonding?"

"Haha, bonding?"

"Byulyi and I havent gotten in a good start.. so training with her and doing my best in all of them seem to make an impression on her and thats good." Yongsun smiled and stood up straight, patting off dust from her shirt.

"Thats good to hear then. Anyways, i'll be going now, Joohyun is inside. Get some rest okay? You did well."

"Thanks Sergeant." She saluted a little and went back to her room as soon as Hyejin walked pass her.

"Woah," Joohyun had her mouth in a 'O' shape after seeing her friend. "I am not putting that many bandages on your arms." She joked making the both of them chuckle. "Byulyi is really going hard on you huh? How many hours we're you there?"

"Three - Four hours.. doing the exact same obstacle course over and over and over and over... again." She sounded more and more exhausted as she stated her sentence. Joohyun helped her lay down and take rest. "She really is being hard on me.."

"Dont worry about it, it's just her way of making people learn faster. Remember that you werent supposed to be here." Yongsun nodded. "Okay! So, lets get you well rested, you need it for tomorrows training haha" The girl laying on the bed looked scared and Joohyun only laughed.

"Sergeant." Hyejin called out and saluted before saying anything.

"Yeah?" Byulyi answered.

"I have something to show you." Hyejin leaded her to the control room and showed her her computer. "Check this out." Byulyi looked closer at the screen.

Hyejin was showing a serveillance footage from Daegu. The footage showed one of the roads in Dong-gu, that was near a supermarket. Byulyi looked confused at what Hyejin was trying to show her, it was what she saw all the time anyway. The same old buildings nearby roads with zombies roaming around. After a few seconds, Byulyi's eyes widen as the footage looked corrupted and came back.

"See that?" Hyejin said and turned her computer to face her again, she typed in and changed the camera to another one, just next to a road from the previous. Another corrupted footage. "I've been theorizing. Look at this." She paused right before the corruption started, "There's zombies, a lot of them. Then," She fast forward to after the corruption, "Suddenly no zombies? This has got me thinking."

"Which is?"

"Remember when i told you that, there could be humans still out there?" Byulyi nodded, seeing where Hyejin was going with this, "This wasnt the only footage, there's corrupted footages near supermarkets, gas stations, and pharmacies. It's as if they dont want us to know they're there. Just look, zombies just cant disappear out of no where like that! They couldve been killed, but wrong, no blood trails or splashes anywhere."

"So what are you saying?"

"They might be against us. I have a feeling this has a connection to what Yongsun told us. Men armed with guns carried her? Im a 100% sure that it's not one of us. And, the sudden school bell ring? It makes sense doesnt it??" Hyejin explained what she had been thinking to Byulyi. The girl kept nodding, looking as if she was connecting the translucent dots.

"It does, you have a point. But the question is, how many are there of them? There gotta be alot since the street was filled with zombies that not just a small group can handle. That means, there has been gangs all over Daegu or another part of the country and none of our men noticed them??" Byulyi said getting a little annoyed, "Im going to have to make the monitoring a strict and neccessary for all the soldier to do. Theyre way too lazy these days." She rested her forehead on her palm, looking as if she was disappointed that no one had spotted what Hyejin did.

"I'll tell you more if i get anything else." Byulyi nodded and thanked her for telling her.

Byulyi grew anxious, whatever or whoever those people were, are definitely not friendly. Especially when they caused the school bell to ring and the swarm of zombies that attacked them, that was obviously a sign that they were an enemy to South Korea itself. And the fact that no one has ever noticed the footages the past months, no one had been doing their jobs properly these days, she knew she needed to warn the general soon.

She went to her own computer and typed down some things for her to check out the streets of Daegu, as well as Jeonju. There were definitely people, but where are they hiding? The military base they had, had eyes on every single corner of south Korea. Unless if theyre somewhere the camera's cant reach..? Underground? Byulyi went through old camera footages, the one of which they were on the mission to get Yongsun.

She checked if anyone had followed them, but nothing. She looked closer and she could swear there was a shadow moving. She even slowed it to see if it was a zombie or not and it definitely wasnt. She checked more, the one when she threw the grenade to light up the tree, she fast forwarded it and another corrupted footage. She was growing paranoid as she realized that it corrupted exactly at the same time that the Car beeping stopped. She clicked through footages to footages, all corrupted. Nothing gave her proof. She groaned.

"Sergeant Moon Byul Yi." A corporal called out to her and she hummed in response, "The Lieutenant Colonel, Kim Nam Joon wants to see you."

"Now?" She asked since The Lieutenant Colonel was in another ship besides theirs, she needed to get into a helicopter just to see him on the other ship.

"Yes Ma'am." He said and went back to continue his works given by other Sergeants. Great, What does he want now?, Byulyi thought to herself. She inwardly rolled her eyes before getting up from her seat, not forgetting to change her computers user and turned on her heals to head to the helipad.
