CHAPTER 44

In the afternoon, seems as to be a sunless sky with the slight cold wind making the atmosphere around became so calming. Staring outside, the wooden sliding door opened ajar. I stood outside, summoning out my Lead while [F/N] is inside; arm rest on the table as a pillow for her head and eyes linger on me. [F/N] was said to do nothing and recover. While for me, I'm trying to get use with my Lead; it's still a working progress.

"You could have stayed at home, but then again what is summer without going outside and have fun."

[F/N] lifts her head a little to see a bat; also taking a rest at the table. Hugh called us to come and wanted to discuss something as well as to enjoy Tetsu's family business, the Onsen. Suddenly, the bat spread it's wings and land on top of her head. Looking down as to meet her eyes at the closes range.

"Are you okay, lil drac?" Hugh stared closely, while [F/N] eyes look upwards. The nickname Hugh uses, he didn't have the right to say that when he is also little. But depending on who's the eldest and the youngest; Hugh won without a sweat. [F/N] faintly nods as a respond, later Hugh search for another of his kind. "Where's Sleepy Ash?"

"Under the table, playing his PSP." She point down at the table, Hugh quickly checked and joined him.

It became quiet again, she draws back her eyes to see her big brother. From the form of a spear to a broom, I hopped onto the broom. Seems odd, but it's not a joke when I have drove this thing many times. There were also times that it didn't work, making me a laughing stock.

[F/N] heard someone was passing by our room, checking on it she peek outside the hallway and saw Tetsu. He was carrying layers and layers of futons; somehow look like a tower. When he came to a sudden stop, some of the futons falls down. Wanting to retrieve the fallen futons, it was hard to squat down. [F/N] strode close to Tetsu, folding back the futons and carries it.

"I got it."

"Thanks, but I could do--"

"There's more falling off. You sure?" Tetsu tried to face [F/N] but ended up more futons falling from the futon tower. "I'll help. You lead the way." She beamed,

Tetsu face back forward with the layers of futon in front if him, how does he know where he is going? Probably using his memories to guess the way around the place, they stop at one room. Each and every room they stopped, the futons began to decrease and last ones were at the end of the line; the last room. Tetsu wipes away his sweat with the towel that usually hangs around his neck. The task was done, then he walks out of the room. [F/N] somehow unconsciously followed Tetsu.

"Do you need anything?" Tetsu turns to look at her, realize she was following him.

"Oh.... Umm..." She was dumbfounded herself,

"Shouldn't you be taking a rest?" Tetsu suggested, that's what he heard from her big brother.

"I know... I was just... feeling bored." She darted her eyes away, feet kicking the air.

"Usually you'd play games and stuff. You know, like Mister Sloth." Tetsu made Kuro as an example of her daily routine.

"Onii-chan confiscated them." feeling more dejected, the conversation wasn't to her liking.

Tetsu stare at the girl, a feeling that he couldn't leave her like so. He think of something to help her get rid of her boredom. "Got it. Come on." [F/N] blinked her eyes a few times, confused but later on went curious of what might Tetsu plan for her. She hums in excitement and tailed Tetsu.

Mean while at my side, I notice [F/N] wasn't there and look for her in the room. I couldn't find her expect Kuro and Hugh. They were under the table with their own world of games. I asked them if they knew where [F/N] was. Sadly, they didn't notice she left the room.
