"Balita ko may nakasabunutan ka kagabi?" Faye asked when she spotted me. "Dapat sinama mo ako."

"I handled it well." I renewed my hold to my pink shoulder bag and brown paper bag na laman ay cheescake ko.

Napatigil ako sa pag-aayos ng pants ko sa comfort room when I heard some girls, which is obviously talking about me. 

"Kumapal ata ang mukha just because she thinks she have the previlige."

"Oh wait, kaninong daughter ba siya? She's a politician's daughter right?"

"Corrupt politician you mean."

I made a face as I continue to listen to their non-sense conversation. A while ago, they are attacking me. And now, they are attacking family? Why can't they stay in one circle? Gossips really have this habits to connects all ends.

"Well, what do you expect? It runs in the blood. Like father like daughter. "

Maarte itong tumawa. "And she really have the guts to show her face in public? Isn't she ashamed?"

"She made a scene in the front gate. Nakita mo ba?"

"Iyong kasama niya iyong gwapong may tattoo? Nabalita lang sa akin. Buti pinatulan siya ng lalaking iyon."

"Well, baka katawan lang ang habol?"

"Sabagay, baka inakit niya lang iyon."

"They love to ruin their name. Aren't they?"

"Dinawit niya pa talaga ang pangalan ni Sauro. Ew for her."

"Yeah right. She really is a mess. Kawawa si Sauro."

"Well, luckily Sauro denied her. She deserves it. Alam ng lahat na madumi ang pamiilya ng babaeng iyon. Imposible namang papatol si Sauro sa corrupt na pamilya."

"Correct. Elene corrupt." And they laugh again.

Daughter of Corrupt Politician. That's what they call me.

I became deaf to my surrounding whenever they talk about my family. Ganoon ba kaluwag ang buhay nila at talagang pinoproblema pa nila ang pamilya ko?

"Sino kamo ang corrupt?"
