A few minutes from now, it would be midday. Mason and Enzo grabbed some weapons as Gideon told them to get ready for some instructions. Luka and Howard were at the table talking about all sorts of things. There was still some food left but they were already busy eating it till the last drop.

The weather was extremely hot and the wind was barely present. Streets were as empty and depressing as ever. The town itself was already looted clean by Luka himself.

In the armory, Mason spoke to Enzo about possible entrances if the first phase of the plan goes south.

"I don't think it will. Gideon will figure it out. He has to. Good job on the thinking by the way. If you hadn't said that Maddox could have possibly changed the routine dates, we would have gone earlier." Said Enzo while rounding up some weapons. Mason was a bit more open to Gideon and Adalia now. He had to. The trust had to be there in order for the mission to even be half successful.

"It was nothing. It crossed my mind unexpectedly. I think you should have seen it too. Maddox ain't the type of guy to be taken lightly. He knows what he's doing." Said Mason while being done with rounding up the weapons. They both went over to Gideon and put down the weapons. Adalia sat over in the area where the sun wasn't shining. She sat on a tank and looked over to the others.

"So, what now? Doesn't look like you got the plan ready yet." Said Mason to which Gideon replied "I do actually. But there are a few things on which you two can improve."

Enzo gave an assault rifle to Mason and told him "You first. I already did some training. Time for you to get at it." Mason chuckled a bit and looked at Gideon. "Come on kid. Let's get started." Said Gideon as he guided Mason to the starting point.

Mason saw some filled water bottles hanging from a thin rope in the distance. He wondered how they would benefit the conclusion on his shooting. "Those bottles there...are filled with water till the top. I've drawn a line a little bit down the middle. Your job is to shoot the bottle right in the middle. The bottle shouldn't be empty by the time you're done shooting. It shouldn't even pass the line I drew. If you make your perfect shot, it will go exactly as planned. But here, use a pistol. Assault rifle's for the next session. " said Gideon.

Mason understood everything what Gideon said. But the bottles were a bit further away then he expected. The perfect shot had to be taken. There were several bottles with water hanged over there but the real objective was to not make the water drain pass the line Gideon drew.

Mason aimed calmly down the sights. His hands were a bit shaky and his eyes twitching a little bit. He had no idea if he aimed directly at the middle of one of the bottles. Gideon looked at him and judged his movement.

"Breath Mason. Let your lungs do the job for you. Keep your hands still, there's nothing to be nervous about. Take a deep breath and breath out a third of what you inhaled. The last bit is for the shock the gun will send down your ears." Said Gideon as he stood right next to Mason.

Mason inhaled deeply and breathed out what looked like a third of what he inhaled. He pulled the trigger and he heard a light tingling up his ears. He saw that the bottle wasn't hit. He missed completely. He wondered how that happened. He aimed directly at the bottle but the bullet passed all of them.

"Sloppy kid. Your hands are too shaky. Remember, the bullet that's about to fire is only as confident as you are. So don't feel nervous. The bullet will too. Breath slowly. Aim again." Said Gideon as he gave Mason a tap on the back.
