The week that followed was one of the worst in my life. We were all still suffering the death of my mother and in the case of my father, swearing to kill the man responsible for her death, that is, Jay.

- I can't believe we'll never see our mother again, - said Dawn, who was sitting next to me, on my bed. - I wish I could go back in time ...

- That's it! If I go back in time, I can prevent Jay from killing our mother. Why didn't I remember this before?

- Do you think it's safe? You never used that power before .... You don't know how it will work.

- I have to try. We can't live in this environment anymore. We all miss mom.

I took advantage of the fact that my father went to Aunt Iris' and we both went to the yard. I knew that I had to run a lot to gain the energy necessary to be able to jump in time.

- Good luck, big bro.- Dawn said hugging me and after that I started to2 run.

I'm not sure how to explain what happened next, but as soon as I realized where I was, I knew something had gone wrong. This "neighborhood" looked like my home, but a little different and that's when I picked up a newspaper and saw the date, 2019.

Well, the bright side is that I can finally deal with him, Jay ... The bad thing is that I jumped too much. I knew that even the smallest actions that I would do, could change the future, so I tried to be as careful as possible, which didn't go very well because in my first hour here, I managed to run into my uncle Cisco and Ralf.

Of course, I left, before they could talk to me, but that wasn't supose to happen. Let's say that what I did next was not much better, but as soon as I saw her, I couldn't resist hiding behind a tree and watching.

I know it is strange for a person to be hidden behind a tree, but it was stronger than me, because I missed my mom a lot and this little bit in which I could see her, even in the distance, reminded me of some moments we spend together. I watched her for a few more minutes until she entered the Jitters cafe and decided that it was best to try to return to the future, but with a few hours in advance for me to achieve my goal.

It took me three attempts to realize that I was not able to use my time travel power. I tried some more ideas that came up, some crazy, others that seemed good at the time but I knew that the only people who could help me were my parents.

I continued to follow them for a few minutes until I discovered that today was the day when my aunt Cecile's baby was going home and they were organizing a little party for the baby. I went to Uncle Joe's house and after a few minutes to gain courage, I knocked on the door.

- Hello, sorry to interrupt but I really wanted to talk to you. - I burst into the house.

I may seem a little strange at the moment, but as soon as I saw Caitin looking at me, my body felt like it had frozen. It had only been a week since her death and I was already missing her.

- I know you ... - Ralf said thinking a little. - Wasn't it you who spilled the coffee on me and Cisco?

- Wait, I know that necklace, - said Cisco, pointing to the necklace I was wearing, which had a flake of ice attached to a red ray.

"But who are you?" Asked my curious father.

I stayed a few seconds to decide whether to tell the truth or to make up some excuse for being there, but the truth is that I really need their help, so it is better to reveal some things about me.

- My name is Thomas Henry Allen and I am your son who came from the future, I am in trouble and only you can help me.- I replied and I could see that everyone was incredulous with my revelation, especially my father.

- Do you guys need a drink? - Cisco asked but no one answered. - Just me? It's ok!

- Uncle Cisco always the same ...

"Our son?" Asked Barry.

"From the future?" Asked Iris at the same time.

- Yes and no!

"What do you mean?" Asked Iris, confused and not knowing what to think.

- Yes, I am your son.- I said, turning to Barry and then I turned to Iris.- But I am not your son, Aunt Iris.

"Aunt?" They asked at the same time.

"So who's your mom?" Asked Iris, a little uncomfortable that Barry had a child with someone else.

- Do you really want to know?

- Yes! - they all answered at the same time.

"My mother is her," I said, pointing at Caitlin as I smiled.

"Me?" Asked Caitlin, confused and content at the same time.

- Yes.

- It doesn't make any sense.... We're getting married! How can you be their son? "Asked Iris, annoyed.

- I am afraid that I cannot explain any more about the future of our family, as that would change the future too much. But what I can tell you is that where I come from, you and my dad never married, but he married my mom, Caitlin.

"That is interesting," said Harry, smiling.

"And what do you do with your life?" Asked Cisco.

- I am nineteen years old and I work at CCPD and I help in Star Labs ... I have two Phds, one in Bio-engineer and the other in Phisics.

- Wow! Smart as a mother, "said Cisco, smiling.

"I want to believe you, trust me, but many people have deceived us so many times, how do I know you're telling the truth?" Asked my father.

"We can always do a DNA test, if you want of course, Henry!" Said Caitlin smiling and I agreed.

After the presentations were over, I decided it was best for me to leave and give them a little time to assimilate the news. After leaving Uncle Joe and Aunt Cecile's house, I went to the nearest park, where I received a call from my dear sister.

- So how are things out there?

- Confused ... I jumped too much time and instead of going back in time a few hours, I ended up going back a few years. I'm in 2019 and I don't know how I'm going to get home. To make matters worse, I had to look for them and tell them the truth.

- Seriously? But did you tell them about me? About what happened?

- No, nothing like that ... I just said that I am their son and that I can't go back to the future. I don't want to tell them much because you know that it could affect our future.

- Oh bro, you're in trouble ... Well, I have to hang up because Dad is calling for me. Please be careful.

- Don't worry. If dad asks for me, tell him that I am at the CCPD. I don't want him to find out what we did.

- Don't worry about it. Just worry about returning home.

After talking to my sister, I had to find somewhere I could spend the night and luckily I found a cheap pension.
