BARRY POV:

I can't lose her again ... This was the only thought I had as soon as I saw her lying almost unconscious on that store floor, dripping blood onto the tile. She risked her own life just to save me, I can't let this courageous act go unnoticed.

But luckily Cisco and Harry managed to stop the blood, remove the bullet and now she is fully recovered. Right now we are having dinner with our children and Amy, Henry's best friend and co-worker.

I personally like this girl a lot and I think she is a great influence for my son. After dinner, Henry went to accompany her home, Dawn went to her room to prepare things for college tomorrow and Caitlin and I went to the living room to watch some television.

We were watching a horror movie, but in the middle of the movie I looked to my side and saw that Caitlin had fallen asleep, so I got up from the couch carefully so as not to wake her, I turned off the television and was preparing to pick her up, when I saw that the entrance door had opened.

- Do you need help, dad?

- It is not necessary. I can handle this situation.

- Then I'll go to bed because today was a long and exhausted day. Good night dad.

- Good night, Henry!

I picked her up and took her to our room so she could sleep more freely. In the morning I woke up earlier than she did, but I just didn't have the courage to get out of bed, so I let myself be warm.

Ten minutes later, her eyes opened and when she saw me awake and looking at her, I just smiled.

"What time is it?" She asks in a sleepy voice.

- Ten forty-four.

After being lazy for another five minutes, we decided to get up and go to have breakfast. When we got to the kitchen, I noticed that there was a note on the counter.

"I just want to say good morning and that today I'm going to have dinner at the mall with Dawn. Anything you need, don't hesitate to call. Kisses ... Henry."

"When was the last time we had the house to ourselves?" I asked, sitting at the table.

- I don't even remember.

- We have to take advantage!

- Oh yes? And what does Mr. Allen have in mind?

- First I will kiss you.- I said, approaching her and giving her a kiss.- Then I will get food outside and we will have lunch in the garden and we can spend the whole afternoon in the pool or soaking up the sun. Unless you feel like leaving home.

"I think your idea is fantastic," said Caitlin, smiling.

- So it's decided. Do you want Chinese, Indian, Italian or Mexican food?

- Indian!

- Excellent choice.

After breakfast we had some television in the living room and when it was time to leave the house, I grabbed my things and headed towards the restaurant near the newspaper where Iris works, which serves food from different countries. As soon as my turn came, I ordered chicken tikka masala. It is a dish of roasted chicken pieces marinated in a seasoned curry sauce. The sauce is generally creamy and orange in color.

Almost an hour and ten minutes later I got home and noticed that the table we had in the garden was already set. After lunch and after washing and tidying up the dishes, we went to the garden again, but this time we went to sit on the "beach chairs" and we were soaking up the sun.

- That's what we really needed. Time to rest, "I said, turning to her.

- It was, it's just a shame what had to happen to have it.

- Yes, but what matters is that we are all well.

- That's right and now we have to take advantage of this afternoon to date a lot because tomorrow we are back to work.

We were resting lunch and then we went to the pool. Today was hot and the water in our pool was cool, that is, the feeling was great.

For dinner I was thinking of making a romantic dinner,  but for that I needed to get Caitlin out of the house. I decided to ask my best friend since childhood, Iris West for help. After explaining my plan to her, she invited Cailtin to come and see some stores that had recently opened by the newspaper.

- Are you sure you don't mind me going? We said we were going to take this day to date.

- Don't worry about it, my love. Go rested!

She went inside to take a shower and change clothes and as soon as she left the house I started to put my plan into action.

POV CAITLIN:

I thought Iris' sudden invitation was a little strange, but I decided to go anyway. I went to the newspaper with her and from there we went to the stores. We were, without exaggerating, almost two hours just entering and leaving several stores. It was already getting dinner time, so I said goodbye to Iris and made my way home.

When I got there, I noticed that the lights were all off except for the ones in the garden. Did Barry leave the house and forget to turn them down? I went to the garden and that's when I saw what he had prepared for me.

"Do you like it?" He asked, smiling.

- You are kidding? I Love it! Everything is magnificent. Did you do all this for me?

- Of course it is! You deserve it ... We deserve this treat!

That said, I sat down on one of the chairs and Barry started to serve the food he had prepared.
