HENRY POV:
I was not upset with my father that he was unable to protect her. None of them were to blame for what happened and the most important thing is that mom was recovering. I entered the infirmary and sat in the chair that had previously been occupied by my sister.
- Mom, I don't know if you are listening to me, but I want you to know that I am immensely proud of you. In addition to saving dad, you managed to capture the metahuman and all this while you were fighting for your life.- I said, taking her hand carefully.- You are a hero! My hero!
While I was with my mom, I received a message from Amy asking if everything was okay, due to the way I left CCPD. I decided that maybe it would be better to call her and that's what I did. When she answered me, I explained everything I knew had happened and after about seven minutes of the conversation she had to hang up because she had called for a new case.
"Wish your mother well as soon as she wakes up."
I know that these details of the missions are not supposed to be told to non-metahuman people, but Amy knows about everything, she knows about my powers, about the powers of my parents and about the true identities of the superheroes who protect Central City. Upon seeing her message, a smile appeared on my face .... I really have the best friend that anyone could wish for!
Five minutes later, it was time to return to the edge of the rest of the staff, when I see that my mother was awake.
- It's okay, mom. You're safe." I said, taking her hand and I sat down on the chair again.
I called for the rest of the team, who came quickly to the infirmary. Seeing that my mother was already awake, my father came running to her and kissed her.
"How are you doing?" Asked Cisco, who was standing beside me.
- Alive!
- You shouldn't have put yourself in front of me ...
- Seriously? Did you want me to let a teenager target my husband?
- It was preferable ... I don't even want to imagine what would become of me if I lost you again.
- Hey, look at me, - said my mother, forcing my father to look into her eyes. - What matters is that I'm fine and once again Central City is safe.
- You were a real hero today, Frost.- Ralf said smiling.
- You didn't look bad either ... How's the girl doing?
- Still in shock, but okay ... It was just a scare.- replied Joe smiling.
We were all extremely happy to hear that my mother had woken up, but my sister still looked in shock, so my mother called her to her side.
- My love, don't worry... I'm fine, - said Caitlin wiping a tear that fell on my sister's face.
"Why don't you go home and rest?" Asked Cisco, looking at my mom and dad.
- And enjoy and take off tomorrow. Rest well, especially you, Caitlin, "said Harry.
"It seems like a brilliant idea," said Barry, taking my mother in his arms and we went to her car.
When we got home, we ordered my mom to sit on the couch while we prepared something for her to eat. While Dawn prepared a juice, I made some toast with blueberry and strawberry jam. Then we all sat on the sofas in the living room and watched television, as we did on Sunday.
- Before I forget, Amy sent you the best.
"Why don't you invite her over for dinner today?" Asked my mother, smiling and I ended up giving in to her question and called my best friend.
She accepted the invitation and said that she would stay another half hour at the CCPD and then she would then come here. For the next twenty-five minutes, we were just watching TV with the family.
- I had a brilliant idea, why don't you take that ass of the couch and get the girl from CCPD? After all it only takes a few seconds to get there and she needless to come alone.- said my mother, winking at me.
- Are you sure? I can stay here and help prepare dinner.
- Nothing like that, go get your girlfriend. - replied my father laughing.
- Dad, she's not my girlfriend.
"Yet!" Exclaimed my sister, smiling, and I left the house.
I left the house and in a matter of seconds I was at the door of the CCPD. I decided to go in and as soon as I did, the captain picked me up inside and asked me if everything was okay, to which I replied that now it was and then went to my best friend's secretary.
When we got home, the table was set and the food was coming out to the table, so we sat down and started dinner. Dinner went beautifully and I was happy to see that the most important people in my life got along beautifully. My parents loved Amy and Amy loved them!
