THOMAS HENRY POV:

These six years have been fantastic and moving Amy to an apartment was the best decision I have ever made. I know that a lot of couples don't feel well about being together all day, every day, but we really liked that aspect.

However, I've been thinking about a subject for some time and I think today is the ideal day to put it into action. Today we moved into our apartment three years ago and today would be the day I was going to propose to Amy.

I already had things more or less planned, however I was going to need some help and who better than my sister to help me in this extremely important task which was to choose an engagement ring.

I called Dawn to tell her the news and after hearing her screams on the cell phone, I asked her for help in choosing the ring I was going to give Amy. We agreed to go see some jewelers in half an hour, as it was the time she left CCPD.

I texted my mom to find out how Ronnie was doing, due to her grandmother's passing, but I still hadn't received an answer. I remembered that she must be at the funeral at this hour, that's why she didn't answer me.

" Brother, I managed to leave early. I left the house now. " - DAWN.

I did what she said and in a matter of seconds I was already at her side and together we went to see some jewelers looking for the ideal ring. We went through almost all the stores that were in the shopping center, but the last one we entered, we found exactly here that you were looking for.

- This is perfect.- I said looking at the window.- I'll take it.

After having the engagement ring in my hands, we ended up going to eat something and then we went to my apartment.

- And you already know how you are going to ask her? And where are you going to place the order?

- I was thinking about something simple, because you know that neither of us likes very elaborate things, so I thought about decorating the apartment with candles and flower petals on the floor.

- Perfect, you take care of the candles that I take care of the flowers.- Dawn said putting her suitcase on my sofa.

- Dawn? And how was Ronnie this morning? - I asked worried.

- Still quite shaken as expected, but better. But you've also seen, poor kid, so little and he's suffered like this. First he loses his memory, then he loses his mother, his uncle doesn't care about him and now he loses his grandmother.

- It is a lot to deal with, but he is a strong kid and with our help, he will improve.

We continued to decorate the room so that when it was time for Amy to get home, everything was ready, but it was six o'clock when we heard steps coming towards this apartment and I knew that was Amy, so we had to hurry up. We hurried up the preparations and was lighting the last candle, when the entrance door opens and Dawn ran to the bathroom to hide.

"I got here, Hen... What's this?" Amy asked when she saw the fully decorated apartment.

- So this is a surprise for you.

- Thank you my love, but it was not necessary. And what is the occasion?

- This.- I replied while kneeling in front of him and took the box that contained the ring out of my pants pocket.

RING:

- Henry

- Henry ...

- Let me tell you everything, if I still don't lose my courage ... Since we met, I had the feeling that you were going to be a very special and important person in my life and I was not mistaken. I know that it took me a long time to tell you what I felt and that I had a lot of doubts about my feelings, however I, at this moment, am absolutely sure that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. That said, Amy Prescott, would you agree to marry me?

- Of course I accept. Thomas Henry Allen, marrying you is all I want most.

I got up immediately and went to hug her. I was so happy that she accepted my request that for a moment I no longer remembered that my sister was in the next room, until I heard the sound of a person "crying" coming from the bathroom.

- Henry? Is anyone else here? "Amy asked, confused.

- I forgot that Dawn was here. She came to help me prepare for the surprise.

- I'm so proud little brother ... We have to tell our parents, like now.- said Dawn taking our hands and headed for the entrance door.

- Wait, first let me blow out the candles. We don't want the apartment to catch fire, "I said, leaving her.

- Well, maybe you're right, - said Dawn and came to help me erase everything, while Amy just laughed.

After the candles were all attached, we left the apartment and went to my parents' house. When we got there, Dawn took the house keys out of her suitcase and opened the door, peeking out to see if my parents had arrived home yet.

We saw blue and white lights coming from the living room and we assumed they had the television on, so we went right there, but when we got to the door, we saw rays that looked like electricity coming out of Ronnie's hands and we were all three bewildered to look at the scene in front of us.

"What's going on here?" Asked Dawn, as surprised as I was.

- Let's say we finally discovered Ronnie's power, - replied my mother, smiling as Ronnie put the Killer Frost necklace back on.

"And I think your engagement was the most hot news," said Dawn, sitting down next to Ronnie.

"Engagement?" Asked my father, surprised.

- Upss ... It left, sorry bro.

- Yes, I asked Amy to marry me.- I announced smiling.

- It's about time. I could see that you were going to wait for us to grow old to take that step.- commented my mother smiling and came to hug us.- Congratulations my dear.

"Thank you!" Exclaimed Amy, smiling as she greeted my parents.

- Many congratulations to both, - said my father, coming to hug us.

- And what about you staying for dinner, to celebrate this news?

- It seems like an excellent idea, I already miss your food.

"We had dinner here two days ago," said Amy, sitting on the couch.

Soon a very important stage of my life would come and I am happy to be able to share it with my incredible bride and my fantastic family.
