I still don't quite understand how it happened, but the discussion is still on my side.
- This all happened because he came. If he had stayed in his little house with his parents from the future, we would all be fine.
- I am not to blame, it was an accident that I came here.- I defended myself.
- Of course you are not to blame ... You are just like your mother, who is also never to blame for anything ... Dear Caitlin disappears for six months without saying anything and suddenly appears and returns to the team without questions, she may as well kill someone with her little white friend and nobody will say that is her fault.... Now I am suffering from this situation of knowing that my fiance will exchange me for her in the future... Am I the bad guy ?!
- Enough Iris! - shouted Joe this time. - Don't you think you're overreacting already? Nobody is to blame for what is happening, neither Barry nor Caitlin, much less the kid who is here alone and on top of that he has to take it with your ridiculous jealous scenes.
- Even you, dad? I thought you were on my side?
"And I was, but in addition to finding what you're saying completely stupid, Barry is also my son, even if he's not blood!" Exclaimed Joe and Iris left in a rage.
- Sorry about all this ... Do not mind your aunt, she is just very stressed with this whole situation.- said my father and I just nodded.
I realize that it shouldn't be easy for Aunt Iris to know the truth, but I think she is having a bad attitude with me and more importantly, with my mother. After this discussion, I noticed that my mother was horrified by what happened so I decided to go and talk to her in private.
I had no idea how to start this conversation, so I did what my heart told me and just hugged her.
- Don't be sad about her. You are not to blame for how things are in the future and I want you to know that you are the best mother anyone can have.
- Thank you son ... It was really what I needed to hear.
Being in her arms was like being under the clouds ... It was a complete happiness and I felt safe because I knew that while I was in my mother's arms, nothing bad could happen to me.
The rest of the day was calmer and it seemed that the discussion had not even happened, but I knew that deep down my mother had not forgotten what Iris said and a part of her admits that perhaps the accusations that Iris makes about her, have some truth background. I know that my father also thinks that something is going on in my mother's mind, that's why he doesn't take his eyes off her.
The time to leave STAR Labs came quickly and the way to our home was very quiet. When we got home and while my mother was changing to a more comfortable outfit, I had the idea of having a kind of pajama party, but only mother and son.
I remembered that whenever my sister or I were sad, my mother would come to our side with a huge bowl full of sweet popcorn, accompanied with gums and a drink. Then we ended up going to the living room and watching the movie that we wanted. This has always encouraged us, so I decided that today I would do the same thing for her.
I went to the cupboards and opened two bags of popcorn and then opened two bags of different gums and put everything in a bowl. Then I opened the fridge and got two drinks. I took everything to the small table that was at the edge of the sofa and waited for my mother to leave her room.
"What is this all for?" Asked Caitlin as she saw the food and drink on the table.
- I thought we could make a special mother and son program, to cheer you up. And whenever Dawn and I were sad, you would watch movies with us and give us popcorn and gum. I thought we could do the same today.
