Meeting You Again

Ch 2: Tears

~Shuichi's pov~

I froze. The scene before me was unreal. There in front of me stood all of my 'dead' friends cheering for us. I kept staring at them as tears started to form. I was at a loss for words. I searched the crowd and everyone was there except one.'Kaede where are you?'i thought while searching for her. Just then I felt something wrap around my chest."Hey Shuichi"a sweet voice came from behind.i smiled with tears of joy as I looked behind.there stood Kaede ,still as beautiful as the day I met her.she was still wearing the clothes from the killing game. Without thinking I hugged her and cried into her shoulder.it felt like a weight was lifted off my chest.i continued to cry into Kaede's shoulder as she pats me on the back. After a while I felt better and my logical thinking has returned as I realized the situation I was in, I still had my face buried in Kaede's shoulder, I started to burn up from the embarrassment. I quickly lifted my head up and started to apologize

"It's ok Shuichi,you were pretty shocked and you did what you did so it's ok" Kaede said with a smile.

"H-how did you survive?"I exclaimed.

"Apparently we weren't actually dead, the whole thing was a setup by the Danganronpa team. We were just locked into a building and had our memories fabricated for entertainment. And guess what? Monokuma isn't actually evil,he was just programmed to be. And Tsumugi wasn't the mastermind behind all that, that was just a role." Kaede explained

I was in shock. So the whole thing was a fake?I went through all of this for what? I was brought back to reality by Miu's shouting.

"Hey b*tchs sorry if I'm ruining something but i wanna have a great f*cking party so get your a*s over here!"

I sighed,I was having such a great moment too. I smiled at everyone and joined the party. The party was pretty simple with everyone updating us on what happened. The party went on for hours as we played and laughed until night came. The party had ended with half of us getting drunk. We were all supposed to bring at least one person to their room and of course I picked Kaede. She was knocked out cold so all I had to do was carry her. I managed to get to my room but as soon as I opened my door I heard something from Maki's room. It sounded like sobbing?. Out of curiosity I took a peek and saw an unbelievable scene yet cute scene. It was Maki sobbing on Kaito's jacket.

"How could you do that?"

"I'm sorry Maki-roll I promise to never do that again"

"You idiot"

"Still calling me that,Huh?"

"Of course"

Maki smiled and wiped her tears away. Kaito was smiling as well as he hugged Maki. I smiled and closed the door silently. I decided to put Kaede on the bed while I'll sleep on the floor. It's not that hard but you'll get used to that. And so I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
