Caitlin pov
"Hello" I croaked out sleepily in a shushed whispered to the phone pressed against my ear
"Caitlin? Hey I'm sorry. I know it's really late in Sydney but we really need your help" I could recognize Iris's voice begged in panic making me immediately stand up straighter.
"Hey Iris. What's wrong?" I asked suddenly alert running a hand through my hair.
"It's Nora. We don't know what's wrong with her. She woke up with a fever this morning, we took her to the doctor, and they gave us some medicine to fix it, but she just got worse. She's not waking up Caitlin. She's not waking up!" Iris said desperately through the phone. I could hear her desperate cry.
It took me a couple of seconds to analyze the situation.
"Uh-uh okay okay. Check her pulse. Is she breathing. Turn her to her side" I instructed quickly while getting up making Liam stir beside me from my sudden actions.
"Hey you okay?" Liam asked softly looking up at me and rubbing his eyes.
"It's Iris. Something is wrong with Nora" I whispered towards him.
"Is she okay?" Liam voices I concerned sitting b up and turning on a light.
"I don't know yet" I said in concern.
"No Caitlin you don't understand. Nora is fine. She's breathing just fine. She's just not waking up" Iris clarified upset.
"It's as if she's sleeping, but she's not responding" She added quickly.
"I need to fly out and see her myself. I can't just give you a medical prediction if I don't know what's wrong with her" I told her shaking my head stressed.
"Barry is on his way" Iris reassured faintly probably being further away from the phone.
"What?" I asked confused through the phone.
"Baby. Why is Barry at our house?" Liam questioned completely and utterly baffled showing me his phone with the front door camera footage. Sure enough there stood Barry bouncing back and forth impatiently.
"I-I don't know. Iris I gotta go. Barry just here. I'll see you soon. Call me if anything changes" I ordered before hanging up.
"How is he even here. It's not possible." He stared at his phone incredulously.
"Babe. I can't explain everything right now. You know how you've always asked me how I know much about meta humans?" I replied walking into my closet to put on some sweatpants and a hoodie along with some boots.
"Yeah?" He said getting up from the bed and walking towards me.
"Well that's because Barry was my very first patient" I said slowly turning to face him.
"He's a meta?" Liam asked his eyes widening in realization and I nodded guiltily
"He's the Flash" he concluded after a moment longer of silence.
It's quiet simply to put two and two together if I'm being honest.
"Yes baby he is. But I don't have time to explain anything right now because I need to get to Nora" I said walking out of our room but Liam got on my tail.
"Where are you going?" Liam asked grabbing my arm to slow me down.
"I'm going back to Central City to save Nora Allen" I said turning my attention back to him for a brief second.
"Let me call my airline company and tell them to get a jet ready for New York" He said encouragingly making me smile at his thoughtfulness and naiveness.
"Baby I love you and I am really grateful that you're trying to help. But a flight take at least 14 hours and Barry can get me there in 1 minute" I smiled caressing his check lovingly.
"Uh-yeah-right sorry I forgot he's a meta" He smiled weakly grabbing my hand and kissing it.
"I'll have Cisco breach you there when he wakes up okay?" I said kissing my lips softly.
"Cisco too?" Liam exclaimed in shock.
"I'm sorry I can't explain right now. But I will I promise" I frowned guiltily.
"Okay" he agreed kissing my head
"You owe me a really nice dinner and lengthy explanation" he smiled weakly.
"Deal" I smiled kissing his lips once more.
"I love you" he whispered against my lips.
"I love you too" I smiled before walking towards the door and swinging it open.
There stood Barry in sweats and boots.
As I stood by the door for a brief second I realized that neither of us had seeing or talked to each other in over 2 years.
We both stood there for brief second not knowing what to say to each other.
"Take me to her" I broke the silence and before I could even blink I felt his hands on my shoulders and hush of wind forcing me to place my hands on his upper and for stability. Blurry images passing us faster than the speed of lightning as I looked around me. Even though I had travelled with Barry before it never got old.

Barry opened the door to his house walking in all to familiarly.
I briefly scanned their house before focusing on the task at hand.
It felt odd not being in their loft but to be fair the last time I visited their home was back when I had just gotten my memory back and they threw me a party. A nostalgic memory that seemed so faint and distant that it almost completely slipped my mind altogether.
"Oh thank God you're here" Iris greeted desperately grabbing my arm and pulling me towards what I'm assuming was Nora's room.
"How long has she been like this?" I asked immediately not washing any time.
"Maybe an hour or two. It's a blur right now" Iris said obviously scared to her core.
"Alright that's okay Iris. I'm gonna need you to take a deep breath and try to calm down. You won't do any of us any good if you hyperventilate" I said softly rubbing her arm to soothe her
"Okay okay I'll try" She said taking a deep breath and sinking into a chair.
"Has her behavior been out of the ordinary these past few days?" I asked glancing at Barry digging for some sort of odd behavior.
"She's just been a little more hyperactive than usual but we just assume that since she's a speedster she was just having the typical extra surge of energy" He explained running a hand through his hair.
I breathed out in relief and smiled down at Nora realizing what was wrong with her.
"With the fever? Was she sweating by any chance?" I asked running a hand through Nora hair tenderly.
"Yeah she was" Iris confirmed.
"She'll be fine" I smiled turning away from Nora's bed and towards Barry and Iris.
"What's wrong with her? Why isn't she waking up?" Iris asked narrowing her eyes in confusion.
"The dopamine levels in her body must be high. I would need to take a blood sample to confirm. But all this "extra energy" Nora has been experiencing these past few days is a part of Nora fast generating cells. The reason why she's sweating is because it's her body's way of releasing all that energy she can't release throughout the day. Think of it as if her body is working out in her sleep and the result of that is obviously a higher body temperature and sweat. She's not waking up because she's tired and her body is trying to slow down her metabolic system back to its normal levels" I explained softly grinning at the tiny speedster.
"So she's okay?" Iris asked clinching onto Barry arms for dear life.
"Yes she's okay. She's just a hyperactive speedster. Do you guys let her run around using her speed?" I asked glancing at Nora.
"We've decided that's it's probably the best idea to let her use her powers too young" Barry spoke up with Iris smiling weakly by his side.
"I'm not trying to dictate how your parental decisions but as a doctor, suppressing her powers is only harming her. She needs to release that energy otherwise her meta bio-genes will start attacking her chemical compounds and crucial organ functions" I added in a completely doctoral opinion.
"So you think we should let her run?" Iris asked looking at me.
"I've seen and tried treating several cases of cell deterioration" I concluded.
"What does that mean?" Barry asked looking at me.
"It means that suppressing the meta-genes specially in a case like yours and Nora's accelerated the natural life cycle of the person" I said.
"So she's dying?" Iris exclaimed tears brimming in her eyes.
"No no no she's not dying Iris. God I'm sorry I didn't mean to insinuate that. What I mean is that it accelerates the aging process. Maybe not physically but internally. She's have the body of a 2 year old but will have the organs of 20 years per say" I elaborated.
"So what do we do?" Iris asked looking at me desperately.
"You know the training room we would use to test Barry's speed? Just let her run free. This way her physical body can keep up with her fast internal changes" I reassured.
"We will do that. Oh god Caitlin you're an angel." Iris smiled crushing me into a tight hug.
I chuckled lightly returning her hug.
"I'm just really happy that it wasn't anything too serious" I replied glancing at the sleeping toddler
"You and me both" Iris smile pulling away from the hug.
"Thank you" Barry thanked softly as he stood next to Nora's bed holding her hand
"Always" I smiled back sadly
"You want coffee? I know I practically yanked you out of bed to come here" Iris offered sweetly.
"I've never been one to deny coffee" I replied gratefully walking out with Iris in front of me.
I was definitely not ready to be alone in a room with Barry specially not after two years.More specifically having to tell him that I told Liam about his superhero alter ego.
That should be a fun and an interesting ice breaker.
