Caitlin pov
"Cisco why are you taking so long to get ready?" I whined staring at the locked door in front of me.

"I'm sorry but these curls take time friend" He yelled from the other side.

"We will loose our reservations if we don't leave soon" I voiced sternly glaring at him through the shut door.

"Don't give me the Frost glare, I can feel it even though I can't see it" He replied further away.

"I'll show you some Frost sass if you're not out here in 5 minutes and I mean it Cisco Ramon" I threaten as I walked away from his room.

"Babe don't worry we got plenty of time" Liam said comfortingly while rubbing my shoulders.

"He is as slow as a turtle" I sighed shaking my head.

"Worse comes to worst, we'll just get there late that's all" He reassured kissing my cheek and walking towards the couch.

"And we will loose our 8 o'clock reservation" I reminded him walking towards the couch to rest my feet, I don't want to waste my energy if I don't have to.

"Baby they won't cancel my reservation" He laughed humorously.

"Just because you're rich, it does not mean they won't do it" I challenged.

"I'm not saying they couldn't, but they wouldn't. Plus, if they did, I would just buy it off" He challenged with a cocky smirk.

"You're rich I get it. No need to rub it in" I joked rolling my eyes at him.

"Don't worry baby, what's mine is yours" He pecked my lips tenderly before pulling away once we heard footsteps approaching us.

"Alright party people let's go eat" Cisco grinned as Gypsy smiled at us from his side.

"Finally, I thought Liam and I would grow old waiting for you to come out" I joked as Liam helped me up.

"You'll both grow old together, but not waiting for me" He affirmed with a sly grin.

"Let's go" I smiled at him as we all made our way outside.

***

We've been driving for half an hour and I have no idea where Liam made the reservations. But he is always finding new places and I have no idea how he does it.

"Are we almost there yet?" I whispered into Liam's ear discreetly.

"Yeah I think so" He confirmed wrapping an arm loosely around my shoulder.

"Great because I am starving" I giggled against him earning me a soft chuckle from him.

"You're always hungry babe. No surprise there" He laughed kissing my temple.

"What can I say? Geniuses need fuel too" I smirked making him shake his head in amusement.

"Frost's sass has been rubbing on you lately huh?" He mused with a grin.

"Maybe just a little" I laughed agreeing with him.

I have been a lot sassier lately but Liam likes it, I think he even finds it sexy, so at least its a good thing he doesn't find it annoying. These past two years with him have shown me just how confident I can be in my own skin. I really love him for that. For encouraging me to love myself first and to love others later. For showing me that I don't have to compromise who I am to be loved by others. I've grown so much, and it would be wrong of me not to give Liam some credit.

"Alright we are here" He smiled as the car came to a stop. I could see a very luxurious building through the tinted car windows.

"Where are we?" I asked curiously.

"You'll see" He mused pulling me close to him as we entered the building.

"Reservation for Stallard" Liam spoke firmly as we reached the frost desk.

"Mr. and Mrs. Stallard please follow me" The employee replied professionally and I smiled softly.

I am already used it. We act like a married couple anyways, so its just natural for people to assume that.

"Oh girl! Did you secretly get married and not tell me?" Cisco joked as we followed the employee into the elevator.

"Of course not Cisco, don't be silly" I scolded in a whisper.

"Otherwise, you would have been her brides-man" Liam contributed with a chuckle.

"As it should be!" Cisco replied confidently.

I was so distracted with the silly conversation Cisco was engaged in that I had to blink twice when I entered a ball room full of friends and family.

"SURPRISE!" They all yelled in unison as my stare immediately turned to Liam in shock.

"Happy birthday!" I could hear Iris yelled happily making her way through people towards me.

"You are a horrible best friend" I glared at her as she hugged me tightly.

"I know I'm the best!" She laughed through my hair.

"This is crazy" I gasped looking around me and tugging Liam's hand.

"Surprise baby" He smiled kissing my hair and pulling me for an intimate hug.

"You're the best" I smiled against his chest.

"No you are and that's why you deserve this and more" He smile pecking my lips.

"Let's go greet everyone shall we?" I smiled pulling away from him enough to see his face.

"Let's go birthday girl" He smiled.

" Happy birthday Caitlin" Joe smiled pulling me in for a hug followed by Cecile.

"Happy birthday sweet Caitlin" She smiled hugging me tightly.

"Thank you" I smiled.

"Happy birthday Cait" I heard a familiar voice say as he made his way through the crowd. Soon enough he was standing right in front of me and I blinked once before he careful took one step closer and wrapped his arm around me.

"I hope this year is the best one yet" He whispered softly against me ear.

I have a nudge that it will definitely be different.....
