Caitlin pov
"So are you guys close to Kaden?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah we're close with him. He's our brother why wouldn't we be" Ron questioned as if the he found the question absurd.

"Well it looks like we have a very complex family dynamic so I just figure I'd ask and get a peace of mind"  I shrugged with a soft smile.

"Mom you do a great job at raising us. Don't you worry" Ron smiled putting his arms around me in a loving gesture.

"So you're definitely a momma's boy" Barry chuckled catching up to our walking pattern( or rather slowing down).

"Oh don't be jealous" Future Caitlin said humorously.

"I'm-I'm not jealous. Pfffff-me? Not even..." Barry rambled under his breath and I grinned.

"It's not my fault I'm so likable" I sassed with a small grin.

"I'm likable right? Dawn? Back me up here. We are a united front" Barry encouraged.

"Of course daddy. You're my favorite human on the planet" Dawn smiled kissing his cheek and giving him a sideways hug.

Barry smiled proudly at his daughter as Dawn linked arms with her father.

"Dawn has always been a daddy's girl" Future Caitlin whispered in my ear with a soft chuckle.

"Where there is balance there is peace" I smiled looking at the father-daughter duo to my left laughing together.

"So last time I checked, Kaden is at Stallard Enterprises with an army of zombie brains guarding anyone from coming near him" Dawn spoke shifting our attention to the matter at hand.

"And how pray-tell are we suppose to get in there?" I asked looking at Dawn in curiosity.

"Three speedsters; two frost-flash-hybrids; and two badass women with cold powers" Dawn pointed out.

"Right" I replied blushing in embarrassment.

"I have a serum that will temporarily dampen Kaden's cold powers while we try to get whatever witchcraft mind reader did on him out of his system" Ron explained the plan in more detail.

"What will I do?" I asked innocently.

"You, mother dearest, will freeze some zombie asses"  Dawn smirked happily

"Alright. Well I've been having some performance issues lately so I don't know if I'll be of be of much help at all" I smiled sincerely.

"Performance issues. I thought Dad was the only one" Dawn smirked while Ron erupted into laughter. Future Caitlin gasped loudly while I just stared cluelessly at them.

"What do you mean-" I asked when realization dawned on me making me blush furiously while stopping my question all together.

"Keep these inappropriate comments up" Future Caitlin challenged with a glare making both Dawn and Ron stiffen their posture. They both murmured an apology under their breath shifting their gaze to the floor in shame.

"Alright let's get my boy back" Future Caitlin said definitively.

"Let's get our son back" I smiled grabbing a hold of Caitlin's hand.
I hope you liked this short chapter! I'm thinking I will start posting every day until my chapters run out. There is only about 8 chapters left anyways so I want you guys to finish my book before the end of the year!
