Ch 7

Caitlin pov
"Since when do you make plans without me?" I asked slightly upset while eyeing Liam suspiciously.

"Baby it was meant to be a surprise but you're too nosy and can't seem to ever let me through a surprise anything for that matter" Liam huffed disapprovingly.

"How was I suppose to know you were throwing me a surprise birthday party?" I defended innocently

"Oh don't act so innocent. I know you practically terrorized Iris into telling you" Liam replied with a slight glare my way.

"Alright alright so maybe I had my suspicions and persuaded Iris into telling me" I admitted sitting down in our cozy couch.

"Persuaded? More liked harassed poor Iris until she had no other choice but tell you" Liam accused.

"I can be very stubborn when I want to" I agreed giving him puppy eyes.

"Stubbornness is your genetic mutation" Liam joked slightly with a serious tone.

"Alright I'm sorry I ruined your surprise" I apologize tugging at his arm to pull him closer to me.

"I wanted it to be perfect" He admitted shaking his head at me and riling his eyes irritably.

"It is perfect because it comes from you babe. Plus, now that I know, I'll have something to look forward to this weekend" I smiled softly.

"She told you the date? Oh my lord! and here I thought a reporter would be harder to crack" He exclaimed lifting his arms in frustration.

"I might have blackmailed my friend into telling me the date and time. But in my defense, she loves me very much and she had no other choice" I smiled sweetly.

"You threaten her with not giving her the exclusive for the launch of our metahuman care facility?" Liam questioned his stare piercing mine.

"Yes" I said hesitantly.

"You're evil" Liam laughed wrapping his arms around me and kissing the top of my head.

"And can you believe Frost had nothing to do it this time?" I said proudly.

"Maybe because she is secretly a lot wiser than you" Liam taunted jokingly.

"You got that right hot stuff" Frost voiced her opinioned before slipping into my subconscious.

"Good morning Frost nice of you to come out" Liam chuckled at her making me smile.

"Well with a handsome man like you how could I not?" Frost replied flirtatiously.

"Alright enough" I voiced taking over and shaking my head at her.

"She's cute" Liam laughed comically.

"No no, I'm cute, she's just a big all jokester" I confirmed with a tight smile.

"Aww don't be jealous love, you're my main girl" He smirked mischievously.

"I better be your ONLY girl Mr. Stallard" I threaten with narrowed eyes.

"always love" He winked

Liam pov

"Okay so she has no idea we're here?!" Iris asked excitedly glancing at me as I sat down in their house at their hotel's compound.

" Of course not. She thinks the surprise party is this weekend" I smiled triumphally.

"I can't believe our plan actually worked" Iris smiled proudly.

"Me neither" I smiled back equally as proud.

Iris and I knew that it would be almost impossible to hide the surprise party from her. So instead of trying to hide it, we tricked into believing that she knew our plan all along. Little does she know, that we are in fact throwing her birthday party tonight. I already have the entire West family settled into one of my hotel installations. Cisco and his family are arriving later today. They are serving as a diversion so that Cait won't suspect a thing. Cisco and Gypsy are suppose to visit us today and we are going out to a fancy "dinner" to celebrate the launch of our metahuman hospital. At least that's what Caitlin thinks anyways. We've had this dinner planned for over a week now, so that she wouldn't suspect anything odd was actually happening.

"All of our newly welcomed gray hairs are totally worth it" Iris squealed happily making me chuckle lightly.

" I  seriously questioned whether she would see right through me these past couple of months" I admitted with a grin.

"Oh trust me honey, me too. I would have vivid dreams of you calling me frantically and telling me 'Iris she knows she knows!'. I wasn't even this stress on my wedding day." She laughs sitting down next to me and letting out a sigh of relive.

" I feel so accomplished" I grinned at her happily.

"We did a great job partner" She smiled sweetly at me patting my back.

"We really did" I chuckled.

"I can't believe that she actually thought it would be so easy to break me. I'm a reporter and she thought blackmailing of all things would work on me? Poor girl." Iris laughed at Caitlin's obliviousness.

"Well I believe we have a birthday party to get ready for Mrs. West-Allen?" I smiled standing up and offering her my hand to take.

" I believe we do Mr. Stallard" She smiled taking my hand in hers and pulling herself up proudly.

first time seeing Liam's pov, what do you guys think?

Also, are you guys ready to see Barry and Caitlin interact in this birthday party? I know its been a while. But boy you guys are not ready for what this crazy mind has in store!!
