I practically jumped off the bench and held my hand out to Niall.

"What?" he said.

"We're going to do normal stuff that normal, non-famous people do. Now come on, we're waisting time!" I said smiling and attempted to pull him up by his wrist but I was to weak.

"Aww surly your stronger than that?" he joked when I let go of his arm.

I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed him again, this time his whole arm. He tipped his head back with laughter and eventually stood up.

"So what are we gonna do?" he said, still laughing.

I smiled even more, "You'll see, come on!"

Without thinking twice, I took his hand in mine and lead us back out to the street from the small area of trees we were sat in. I reached for my phone in my jogging bottem pocket and pulled it out.

"Hey siri, where is the closest ice cream shop?" I said into the phone.

Niall laughed again.

"Lily it's November, are we really going to get ice cream?" he asked through chuckles.

I nodded, "you bet we are."

I checked my phone. The nearest ice cream shop that was open was to far to walk.

"Oh god I hope this works," I muttered to myself.

I stepped out into the road like they do in movies and waved my hand at the yellow taxi that was approaching. The car slowed as it neared me and I signaled to Niall to come over.

"Hop in Miss," the taxi man said in a happy voice.

I climbed in followed by Niall. The drivers eyes widened when he saw Nialls face.

"No way, your one of the guys from that boy band. My daughter loves you guys. Do you think-" the man was cut of by me.

"Niall is off duty at the moment. He's just a normal guy doing normal things like riding in a taxi or whatever you Americans call it. Now please may you take us to Ruby's Ice Cream Parlour."

"Ugh OK. And by the way, it's a cab not a taxi," the taxi driver says. He was annoyed but i didnt really care.

Niall smiled at me. I knew he was grateful that I had stopped the driver from talking. I was happy I'd stopped him too otherwise Niall probably wouldn't have been smiling such a big smile that made me feel so happy myself.
