"OK your ready!" Liv said as she sprayed her best perfume on me. I was dressed in black leggings and a white, spaghetti strap, vest top. I had a light grey, zip-up hoodie on. Liv had pulled it off one of my shoulders and told me I looked good so I went with it.
My special necklace hung on my neck. It held the ring my mum had given to me just before she died on. I kept it on almost everyday.
"Will you walk down to the car with me?" I said nervously.
Liv nodded and handed me my phone and purse before following me out into the hallway and shutting the door behind her. As we walked down the stairs to the front door I felt bad for Liv. I was leaving her all alone on what was mean to be our holiday.
"Hello miss," said the man by the silver car. It was the same one who had delivered the letter to me a about an hour ago. He held the car door open for me and I climbed in nervously.
I put down the window so I could talk to Liv.
"Are you sure I should go. I can stay with you if you want," I said to her. Half of me was desperate to see what Niall had going on but the other half wanted to stay with Liv.
"It's fine. Go, just don't forget to text me so I know your OK," she said and gave me a kiss on the cheeks like she usually does when I'm leaving her. We were so close it was more like we were sisters than best friends.
"OK. I love you," I said and hugged her awkwardly through the window.
"I love you too," she said and the window rolled back up.
She waved as I was driven away, I waved back but she didn't see as the windows were black out ones.
"Would you like any music on miss?" the man asked. I had forgotten what Niall said his name was, something beginning with D I think.
"No thank you, I'm OK," I replied.
I stared out the window and watched the big city go by. After a while I pulled my phone out and started spamming Liv with loads of random emojis because I was bored but it wasn't for long as the car gradually slowed and eventually came to a stop.
We had arrived.
