Not far from the Midford's manor. Two reapers stood in darkness-

".... Okie two lovey-dovey lesbian's in the garden. Now where is he!?"

"What in Reaper's tombstone are you doing Grell?!" Alexandra exclaimed as she watches her colleague squirm in delight watching something through their binoculars. "We have souls to reap and here you are acting like a bloody stalker!"

"It's not stalking my dear Alexa" Grell retorted. "And shut up, what I'm doing is more important than reaper work."

"William's gonna have our heads if we slack off" Alexandra mumbled. "What in Shakespeare's glasses are you even looking at?"

"My beloved Bassey" Grell responded with an excited squeal.

Alexandra scoffed, "Why in the world did I even agree on partnering with you? Ronald's a better partner than you."

"Oh boo hoo, like I care about you and your boyfriend-"

"He's not my boyfriend!" She quickly replied with reddened cheeks.

"Whatever" Grell rolled their eyes. "You can complain whatever you want as long as you don't get away with me and my Bassey."

Alexandra rolled her eyes, "What do you even see in that demon?"

Grell turned to her with a wide mischievous grin. "I can write a whole book why I love the sly demon. Starting off with his steamy eyes-" As they begin to babble about everything they admire about Sebastian, Alexandra had already began on ignoring the redheaded reaper.

Knowing well her partner was too stubborn to head out, she decided to give up and wait for them to initiate on leaving the forest and proceed to their duties. She sat on stump and lay her warhammer beside her. Calluses were visible on her palms- the result of so much training with her weapon.

It recalled her of the days she was training. Days she worked so hard to reach where she is now. She felt strong- joy filled her when William had recognized her skills and become one of his trusted few.

But...

When they faced off against the most fearsome grim reaper. The encounter had not only injured her gravely but almost shattered what ever confidence she has on her abilities.

'If only I was strong'

"What's this?" She turned to her partner. "Looks like we have a party crasher" they said upon looking through their binoculars, "Oh my we weren't expecting a soul here. It seems its another anomaly caused by my dear Bassey and his insufferable mistress" they let out a sigh.

"Wait what do you mean-" Alexandra walked to them and grabbed their collar by force. Ignoring the choking sounds emitted by Grell, she looked through the binoculars to see what they meant.

She scanned the area to search for what they meant. "What do you mean Grell? Where in Victoria's name is the party crasher-" she then found the bloke Grell talked about jumping out the window and swiftly running back into the forest like a mere shadow.

Getting a suspicious feeling from this figure, there was only one thing to do.

"Grell, you go reap the soul of whoever died there and I'm going to follow that lad" Alexandra said as she began to ran off with her weapon. Grell was on the ground taking deep breathes. "You whiney baby, stop messing around!" Alexandra reprimanded.

"I PREFER TO BE CHOKED BY SEBASTIAN THAN AN ANNOYING WENCH LIKE YOU!" Grell screeched but their partner just ignored them.
