"Come on Blaise, hand it back." you hold your hand out, watching as Blaise turns your wand over in his hand.

"What is this?"

"A wand." you answer him, he gives you a 'duh' look.

"I know that." you make another grab for it, and he pulls it away again, using his elbow to keep you away from him, "I mean, what is it made out of?"

"Well, you're smart, you should know for yourself." you give up, sitting back on the black leather couch. You cross your legs neatly, leaning into the corner as you cross your arms.

Blaise nods, like he's sure he's going to be able to name the wood and get it right the first time. You watch the determination cross his face, as he spins the wand between his fingers, "Holly."

You snort, which makes him look right back at you, "Wrong."

"Vine? Willow?"

"Wrong and wrong." you repress a laugh, "Guess you're not as smart as you say you are."

Blaise gives you a dangerous look, and you taunt him, raising your eyebrows and tilting your head from side to side in a childish manner. This is enough for Blaise to give up his mature act and jump at you. You manage to slip off the couch just barely before he grabs you.

"Give me the wand." you demand, holding your hand out.

"No. Not until you take what you said back." Blaise says, rising from the couch.

The two of you are now standing face to face. Like the ass he is, he holds your special wand above his head, out of reach of your fingers. You know for a fact that you could stretch your entire body out and still not be able to grab it. He's got the arm length advantage here, which is a total pain.

"Why would I do that?" you ask Blaise, "You know, people only get mad at statements like that when they know they're true."

Blaise makes another swipe at you, allowing you to duck, and then shoot up to grab the wand, since his hand had lowered. You grab his forearm with one hand, using your body weight to pull it down, while you reach up with the other. Blaise has caught on then, and reaches out to grab your side.

You squirm before his hand has even touched you, letting go entirely as you try to get away from him. During this scramble, you grab the wand since he's not focused on it, and you just barely manage to get away from him the second time.

Blaise prepares to go up against you, until his whole body tenses and he's standing straighter, "Hey Draco."

You turn, curious as to why Blaise is suddenly so stiff. Draco shouldn't care, it's all some harmless fun. You've even messed around with him like this before the two of you started dating and he was 'seeing' Pansy.

And it isn't until your eyes land on his face, when you realize that Draco is not happy. Not even in the slightest. He's glaring at Blaise harshly, and he hasn't even bothered to look at you just yet. You run your fingers through your hair before going over to him.

It's reasonable that Blaise doesn't want to say anything, he's probably worried that it'll only make Draco more mad. And since you and Draco are together, he's bound to be a lot nicer when it comes to things. Especially if you can keep calm during this next interaction, make it all smooth.

You place your hand on Draco's arm, "Good thing you came in, I was about to hex Blaise for making me go through so much trouble to get this darling back." you hold it up slightly for him to see, "Wasn't a big deal at all."

"Can you wait for me?" Draco asks, giving you a kind look, but there's something underlying, "I'll see you in a second."

"Okay." you agree, sharing a look with Blaise before you head off into the adjacent room. This one has a fireplace that is already lit, a single table with plenty of chairs that's used for studying, along with bookcases, the slytherin flag, and so many more. Compared to the room you were just in, this one is much cozier.

You walk into the room, playing with the wand in your hand. You have a feeling that Draco's kindness to you was just the beginning, and he's probably having a talk with Blaise before he gets to you.

Obviously your lighthearted approach did nothing. Which is a bummer, because you're really not in the mood to go into defensive mode with Draco. With the attitude that he has sometimes, it's going to be a battle.

You then turn towards the doorway, waiting. First it's a minute, then two, and right when it hits the third, Draco comes around the corner with his cloak flying behind him. He reaches over, grabbing the door and shutting it behind him. His eyes hold the same glare he was giving Blaise.

"It was harmless fun, Draco." you reason, "Blaise had taken my wand, I wanted it back. He tried to guess the wood, I called him dumb for getting it wrong."

"And so his first reaction was to grab a hold of you?" Draco asks, and you press your lips together, "It's not much of an overreaction, and you know it."

"I know you used to do the same thing to me." you say.

"Because I liked you." Draco urges, "And now that Blaise is doing the same thing--"

"You're reading into it too much."

"Or maybe you're not doing it enough, (Y/n)." Draco's annoyed, likely because you cut him off and didn't allow him to finish his sentence.

"You weren't there for the whole thing either."

"I saw you climbing all over him. I saw the way you looked at him. If it was so harmless then why did Blaise look guilty when I showed up?"

You roll your eyes, "Because you were glaring at him. He didn't have a reason to feel guilty until you clearly showed your distaste."

"So I can't be upset that you were acting like that?"

You want to roll your eyes a second time. Instead, you grip the wand in your hand, and begin to walk towards the door, "I'm not doing this tonight. Why don't you sleep on it?"

"Walk out that door and we're through." Draco says right when your hand touches the doorknob.

You pause, then you turn your body halfway to get a look at him. Now, he seems to be fuming. His face is read, and his entire face is twisted, he doesn't look like your Draco. He looks worse.

"Despite what you think, I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself." you snap at him, "And I don't want nor need you if you're going to act like this."

Draco's eyes flicker back down to your hand, which is still on the doorknob. This is when he must realize that he's going to be the one making a mistake, not you. You could walk out and probably be fine, while he'll be upset for weeks, if not months.

So, he deflates in almost the same way that Blaise had, "Okay."

"Okay?" You ask.

"It upset me to see you like that on him."

You let go of the handle, heading to him instead. On the way over, you place the wand at the edge of the table and hold your arms out for Draco.

He pulls you in.

"So you were jealous?" you ask him after a moment.

He doesn't say anything, pulling you a little closer, "You're mine. I don't share."

You laugh a little, "Oh, really? Anything else?"

He hesitates, and then says, "You're so fucking hot when you're mad."
