NOTES; READER IS SLYTHERIN

You sit up on the bench, watching as Professor Flitwick finds his usual spot on top of the pile of books. You've all just pretty freshly come into the classroom, so there's still a ton of people talking. Including Draco, who's leaned behind you to talk to Blaise.

"I don't know why you two don't just sit next to each other." You say again, but Draco hushes you.

You smack the back of his head. He rubs the area, sending you a small glare, but doesn't stop talking. It's always about some rumor that can't wait until later, especially since this is the last class of the day. You could all go back to the common room and talk about it together, but he chooses the most inconvenient times.

"Just trade me spots real quick." You whine.

"No," Draco says, sitting back up in his spot. You open your mouth, thinking that he's talking to you, until Blaise comes back around, this time leaning in front of you.

You hit the back of the bench, watching as they lean in to talk to each other. You have half the mind to ruin the moment and push their heads together in hopes that they shut up. Only, you know that Draco will definitely scold you right here if you do. So, you mess with the collar of Draco's white button down, ruining it as much as you can.

Finally, they're done. While Draco goes back to sitting in his seat, he goes a full five minute of his collar being turned up, before realizing that it's messed up. He fixes it, and has absolutely no time to glare at you. The classroom has gotten quiet enough for Flitwick to start his lesson.

With only an hour of class, he starts on the background of today's spell first. He doesn't move around like the other professors do. Not only is there not enough room on the books, but also it would be too much work to try and get down.

You lean into Draco, "Someone needs to get him a step stool."

Draco snorts, covering his mouth. When someone looks over at him because of the noise, Draco jerks in their direction to try and be threatening. It works, the person looks away, but you've gained the attention of Blaise. Neither of you tell him, he's too close to Flitwick, and you're sure that Flitwick would hear if you repeated yourself.

Today's lesson is a memory charm, one of the more dangerous ones. Professor Flitwick starts off with saying that you guys won't be practicing it today because of the repercussions of it. He rambles on about how you've all probably heard about it before, it won't be big news to you. But he's still required to teach it either way.

It's obliviate, and the entire room understands as soon as he says the name. And with that, he's also lost most of your attention too. You doodle in your notebook, trying to listen as best as you can. The charm was created by a woman, she became the first obliviator in the Ministry of Magic or something like that.

After most of the class is wasted on notes and stuff like that, you're given a small assignment just before he teaches you all about how to actually cast the spell. You and Draco go back and forth on the assignment. It turns out neither of you had really listened, and because of it, your papers are going to be empty.
