No matter how many times Draco was told by his friends that he should just hurry up and visit you at the infirmary already, he avoided it. He was already getting unwanted updates about your condition from the teachers and Blaise, why should he bother to see you himself? He already knew what the outcome would be.

A blank look, with a question as to why he should matter to you. In your new mind, he doesn't exist to you, much less matter. He's just another person that's worried over you, trying to get you to remember things that you won't. You've already got people overwhelming you, he doesn't need to be added onto the list.

He's got other things to worry about, anyway. As of recently, he's been trying his damned hardest to try and stop people from looking at him like he's some damsel in distress. They don't need to pity him. It's bad enough knowing that his girlfriend will never remember him again, he doesn't need people rubbing it in.

But it's all they can do, all people can talk about. Even his parents heard about it back home before he could tell them himself. It was embarrassing to get a letter from his mum like that, concerned over his well being. Draco's fine, and he's always been fine. What's one more mistake in his life?

The only thing that's really turned out good from this, is watching the boy from gryffindor get expelled from Hogwarts entirely. After Professor Flitwick had outright stated multiple times that the spell was not to be casted by students, the boy did it anyway. Everyone in Draco's year has basically agreed that the boy deserved it, and he's not worth the sympathy.

Of course, the boy tried to argue his case. If the spell shouldn't be casted, then why was Flitwick teaching the spell in the first place? The argument wasn't valid. Out of all the periods he had taught that day, the gryffindor boy was the only one dumb enough not to listen. The special one out of the bunch, so to say.

On the off chance that you do regain your memory–which happens to be extremely rare, as Draco found out the other day while he was reading through books in the library–you'll be pleased to hear that revenge has already been taken. There's not a lot that Draco can do for you right now, but that was the most satisfying thing that had happened since your amnesia.

Also while Draco has been avoiding you in the infirmary, he's been working on the homework that the teachers have been piling up so far. Since Madam Pomfrey is fairly confident in her abilities to restore your memory, especially with the help of some teachers like Flitwick and Snape, your teachers have decided to continue with the homework, instead of excusing you.

He wishes there was something he could do about that. It's a ridiculous thought in the first place. You're in the middle of a medical emergency, and your professors are worried about making sure you catch up on your work, rather than excusing you from it all together. But honestly, it's not what Draco's so worried about.

One of the main reasons why he refuses to visit you in the hospital wing, besides the obvious fact of you not being there entirely, is because he doesn't want to go in there, thinking that it'll be the last time he has to remember you like this, before you come back.

While Draco was doing his research in the library, he came across some information on obliviate. As Professor Flitwick said, it's a memory charm, and it's a hard one to reverse. As far as many know, one of the main forms of reversing the charm is through torture. Breaking the mind could bring back your memories, but it can also do a great deal of damage mentally.
