A Different World (HUNTER X HUNTER)

QUIZZES X ARE X CONFUSING

"You four can count on me to get you guys to the nearest shore!"

The Captain told Kurapika, Leorio, (Y/N), and Gon. Gon threw his hands in the air and yelled in excitement,
"Alright!!"

The group of four made their way out of the boat not long after reaching their destination. (Y/N) made sure to just keep her metal hoops attached to her waist. She has no reason to hide them. She turned around as she saw Gon get called over. She stood there and waited for their conversation. (Y/N) watched closely as Gon nodded at whatever he was being told. He saw (Y/N) and ran towards her,
"He said a short cut to the exam is by heading to the cedar tree over there"

Gon said pointing at the direction he was told. (Y/N) nodded and said,
"Let's go tell the others."

The four were looking at the map and Leorio was first to comment,
"This doesn't make sense. According to this notice the Hunter Exam is in Zabba city, but the tree is over here"

He pointed at two points thar were way off from each other. They all stared at the map before Kurapika asks,
"Gon, are you sure you heard the directions correct?"

Gon nodded as (Y/N) looked at the bus that people were boarding in, Leorio noticed and said,
"Hey the bus is going to leave soon, let's hurry"

All but Leorio stayed still. He turned around to the group,
"Hey! What are we waiting for!?"
"You heard the Captain, there's lots of people who will want to take the exam and they have to filter them out. We should head to the least obvious, the Cedar Tree"

(Y/N) pointed out to Leorio while thinking to herself why did I say that? He's either way gonna come with us, Gon thought about it and said,
"Hey you're right (Y/N), to the Cedar Tree!"
"I don't see why not"

Kurapika says while following the two. Leorio headed to the bus but last minute turned and ran to his friends, not wanting to be left behind.

After a while,they begin walking in a town, since they couldn't go around it. It was quiet until they all started to hear some sort of music. A group of people with maks, along with an old lady walked in front of them,
"In order to pass on, you will have to answer a quiz with a single answer. This is the only way to the Hunter Exam"

The old lady says as the four had a confused and maybe even disappointed. They all stared and were thinking of some kind of plan or solution before hearing,
"Well hurry up or I'll pass you!"

They all turn around to the unfamiliar figure behind them. Oh! He must've been following us, how could I forget (Y/N) thought to herself as the man walked past them,
"I'll answer your quiz granny"

The man says proudly. The old lady asks him,
"Very well you have five seconds, your mother and wife have been kidnapped. You can only save one"
"That's easy, my mom. You can't replace your mom, but you can find a new girl"

(Y/N) almost cringed at the man's answer as the rest stared at him. The old lady closed her eyes as the people made a way in front,
"You may move forward"

She said as the man smirked and walked. Most of the group were shocked and Leorio spoke up,
"Oh come on! A question like that has no real answer!"

Kurapika's eyes widen a bit and turned to Leorio to say something,
"Leorio-"
"Silence! The boy with the cat eyes musn't say anything or you'll all be disqualified"

The old lady interrupted. Leorio, (Y/N), and Gon looked at each other. Gon said nervously,
"I'm not very good with quizzes, heh"
"Alright I'll answer."

Leorio says as he walks foward, (Y/N) reached her hand out and was going to stop him but Gon held her hand down and said,
"It's okay"

It was silent before the old lady asked her question,
"Your son and daughter have been kidnapped, you can only save one. Who do you choose?"
