A Different World (HUNTER X HUNTER)

THE X FIRST X PHASE (1)

The four landed and watched most of the family go back to the direction they came from. The son stayed behind to help them get to the destination. The man led the four around the city, with Gon and (Y/N) almost wandering off a few times because they were getting distracted of their surroundings,
"Look (Y/N) the food here looks so good!"

Gon said while pointing at a food stand. (Y/N) agreed as the two turned and tried catching up with the group. The man held a small paper in his hands looking around to make sure he was going the right way. He stopped and said,
"This is it"

Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika looked up at the tall and fancy building in front of them. (Y/N) stood next to the man as he said,
"Its over here"

The three looked at the tiny restaurant. The excitement died down as Leorio commented,
"Wait! So millions of applicants come from around the world to go this small place?"

They walked inside as the navigator said,
"We'll be using the backroom!"

There was a chef who turned his attention to the group,
"What will you be having?"

His voice was a bit scratchy and low. The navigator smiled and said,
"A steak combo that opens your eyes to the light, four please"

The chefs eyes sharpened at the group and said,
"How will you like it?"

The navigator smiled and said,
"Grilled over a low flame, until cooked"

The chef relaxed, his eyes setting back to the meal he was preparing. He told the group,
"Backrooms open"

The navigator led the four to one of the backrooms and told them to wait. (Y/N) sat down and kept her gaze on the ceiling. They didn't rest a lot and it was almost time for the Hunter Exam. Not long after, the group had figured out that the room served as an elevator. She was about to close her eyes and rest but was interrupted by the arguing of Kurapika and Leorio. They were having Gon choose on what it means to be a hunter. (Y/N) thought for a moment and tried to remember what the Hunter Exam had. There's I think four or maybe three phases. She thought to herself as the room stopped moving. They all got up and the door opened. The place was large, and had a green tone to it. The group walked and looked around until a small green person came up to them,
"Welcome to the Hunter Exam! Here are your pins, make sure not to loose them"

He said while handing each one a pin with a number on it. (Y/N) took a good look at her's. She was number 406. She attached the pin to the right side of her chest. She looked up to see a figure she dreaded to see, Fucking Tonpa she thought as he came by and greeted,
"Hey there, I'm Tonpa!"
"Hi Tonpa! I'm Gon"

Gon said cheerfully while (Y/N) was glaring at Tonpa, who began talking the group,
"You four must be rookies"
"How can you tell?"

Kurapika asks a bit suspicious. Tonpa kept his smile and said,
"Well this is my thirty fifth-attempt!"
"I don't think that's something to brag about"

Leorio mumbled as Tonpa began to talk about the other people who've been here for a while,
"...And those three are brothers, together they form a powerful team"

Tonpa said while pointing at a trio. Suddenly they heard screaming, everyone in the room turned their attention on a man on the floor. His hands were deteriorating into red flowers,
"It's rude to bump into someone and not apologize~"

(Y/N) starred at the familiar red haired magician. Tonpa made a comment,
"Hisoka the magician, he was disqualied last year for almost killing an examiner"

Tonpa said those words in a manner that was pissing off (Y/N). Hisoka turned to the group and everyone but (Y/N) felt shivers down their spine. Hisoka focused his sharp yellow eyes and met with the young pair of (E/C) eyes. He smiled weirdly at his sister. Gon looked back and forth of the two. Hisoka walked away and everyone let out a relived breath. Gon then asked,
"(Y/N) You know Hisoka?"
"Yeah"
