A Different World (HUNTER X HUNTER)

THE X SECOND X PHASE

"I must take my leave now, but I wish you all luck in the second phase in the Hunter Exam"

Satotz announced, beginning his weird walk and leave.
"Sorry I don't remember what happened guys"

Leorio said, while slowly standing up and scratching the back of his head. (Y/N) patted his back, her own sign of saying 'it's okay'. Gon and Kurapika both agreed and not to tell Leorio what happened. Killua was just confused on what the four just got through. The gates to the second phase slowly opened, revealing a large pale man and next to him was a tan girl with bright turquoise hair. The lady with bright hair started the introduction,
"I'm Menchi and this is Buhara, professional gourmet hunters. We will be the examiners for the second phase!"

Everyone was puzzled at the arrangement of the place as they entered, there were cooking stations? A ginger haired man laughed and questioned the unusual arrangement,
"What's this supposed to be? A cooking contest?! There's no way"

Some other men began laughing along, Menchi grew angry and answered the men,
"There's all types of Hunters in the world! If anyone wants to pass the second phase, you'll  have to catch and cook a wild pig under an hour that'll satisfy BOTH our tastebuds"

There was barely enough time to process what Menchi said as she then yelled,
"Time starts now!"

And like rats, everyone scattered into the forest, looking around for any sign of pigs. The group of five were cautiously going down a slanted path. Gon was in front, Killua next, then (Y/N), Kurapika, and behind was Leorio. Gon was sitting down on the ground, focusing on hearing signs of an animal. Leorio slipped, pushing Kurapika and making the rest slid down,
"Woah!"
"Idiot!"
"AaAah!"
"Leorio!"

The four all yelled as they hit the ground. Gon landed face first, letting out a small groan as he lifted his head and let out a small gasp at the sight in front of them,
"Guys look! We found them!"

The four focused their attention to the herd of pigs walking slowly. The relief of finding what they're looking for began to sink in. The only problem was, how are they going to kill them? Gon made an attempt, but the large horns on the pig hut Gon hard enough for him to stumble back. Leorio let out a sigh,
"Now what?"

He grumbled, already giving up. Kurapika thought for a moment, his eyes scanning the pig up and down. Light a light bulb over his head, he got an idea,
"Gon! Aim for the top of the head, it can't protect itself there!"

Kurapika yelled, Gon giving a thumbs up before facing the pig again. The pig was mad as it prepared to charge at Gon. To it's full speed, it ran to the green haired boy. Unfortunately for the pig, Gon jumped and came down, his fist coming down and stringing the pig down. Killua threw a punch in the air and shouted,
"All right, you did it Gon!"

The four congratulated Gon, feeling determined to achieve the same outcome.

(Y/N) took of the blue belt off her waist, tying a metal hoop on it. She spun it a few times to make sure her plan work. Thanks to her knowledge of basic nen, she used Hatsu to cover her presence from the pig. She leaped to the pig's back, giving the pig a big whack on the head. It collapsed immediately. She gave herself a pat on the back, it was the first time she would be cooking with real fresh meat.

One second she was there, the next second it's as if she disappeared. Killua was dragging the pig he killed, belt (Y/N)'s presence at a distance behind him but her presence was gone then. He quick,y turned around and saw the (H/C) haired girl sneaking up on a pig. He watched her catch the pig off guard and kill it. She wasn't normal, what did she do? He should've sensed her at least a bit. (Y/N) is weirder than he thought. Gon looked at what Killua was focused on,
"Killua! Can you call (Y/N)?"
