"Leorio, I promise I'm fine"
"What do you mean fine!? This doesn't look fine!"

Leorio argues against (Y/N)'s reassurances while looking at her arm where he loosened some of the bandages,
"I don't believe it, a plane exploding? That just doesn't doesn't happen out of the ordinary!"
"Leorio stop yelling, you're making things more stressful"

Kurapika tries easing the situation while kneeling next to Leorio to help change some of the bandages. The more they pealed away and the closer they got to her hand, made (Y/N) stop Leorio,
"It's really not a big deal, I can't even feel it"

She comments while standing up, walking away while re-applying her bandage. She approached Gon who stared at the gate in front of them. She placed her hand on his shoulder,
"Don't push yourselves, just a bit more training and we'll open the gate."

Gon gave a hummed response as the old man came by with a tray with tea,
"I'm assuming you'll be helping your friends reach master Killua, Ms. (Y/N)?"

The old man asks while handing (Y/N) a cup,
"That's the plan"

She responds while taking a sip of green tea with an exact measurement of sweetness to her liking.

After a few hours, Leorio, Kurapika, and Gon were training doing a lot of arm based exercises with the heavy vests they wore. The old man insisted (Y/N) should sit out despite her insisting on joining. While watching the trio train the old man stood next to (Y/N), who was sitting on a large rock,
"It feels just like yesterday when master Illumi brought you here under my supervision"

The old man recalls, folding his arms with a soft smile and looking down at (Y/N).

"(Y/N) the city is such a confined space, you should be able to move freely here"

Illumi says while holding the seven-year old girl's hand. The old man looked at the pair with hesitant eyes. Illumi turns to the old man,
"Don't let her rest till she can move down the mountain before dawn

We're his instructions as he goes inside the manor, easily opening 6 gates and closing the door behind him. The old man turns away worriedly to (Y/N) who stood there.

Later, the old man asked (Y/N) to try opening the gate and tried she did as she placed both her hands and pushed with all her force, she found that the doors didn't even move. He leads her to his booth, where he had snacks and water. After questioning (Y/N) about her physical abilities he saw the high expectations she was on,
"No matter how long I train I can't reach the level he's asking"

She says, eating a cookie from the cookie snack bag she was given,
"He tried to build my tolerance with poison once but I almost died, I've never seen Hisoka that mad before"

She explained, laughing at the story but  found that the old man wasn't laughing, making it awkward. The old man packs her backpack adjusting the straps to not be too tight and not loose. Last, he hands her a flare gun,
"If you feel like your lost, shoot it towards the sky and I'll find you"

"That bug eye was waiting at the end"

(Y/N) tells the old man, the eerie feeling of seeing Illumi down the mountain before her when she last saw him at the top. The old man keeps his gaze on her,
"Something's changed (Y/N), you've trained"
