A Different World (HUNTER X HUNTER)

BIG X BAD X ILLUMI

(Y/N) and Gon stared shocked at Satotz, who delivered the news about Killua. Gon was going to stand but (Y/N) stopped him,
"Let him explain what happened"

She told Gon as he sighed and both out their attention to Satotz, started his explanation with even more bad news,
"After (Y/N)'s round, Hisoka and Kurapika were up next. However, that round ended pretty quick as well. It ended with Hisoka whispering something into Kurapika's ear and then Hisoka forfeit the round"

Both (Y/N) and Gon looked at each other giving each other a face of worry on what Hisoka could have possibly told Kurapika. Satotz gave the two a glance as he began to give briefs on the rounds that unfolded. Hanzo beat pokkle. Killua forfeit his fight against Pokkle. Hisoka beat Bodoro with the same mysterious whisper he gave Kurapika. Now it Killua against Gittarakur, Satotz had to deliver the next bad news,
"Gittarakur wasn't who he said he was, he was in fact Killua's older brother, Illumi"

(Y/N) felt her heart drop to the floor in fear. Her mind began to race as a bunch of thoughts went on in her head. Gon was confused at the news but he had no good feeling about it. Satotz began to explain what Illumi had done,

"Kill, assassins don't have friends I made it very clear"

Everyone was on edge with the demeanor Illumi gave off as he retracted his extended hand while he stared down at Killua, who was distressed and trying to process the person in front of him. Illumi continued on,
"The green boy, Gon, he's become a nuisance to you. Delayed you from continuing on with your full potential"

Everyone stared and trying to see what Illumi's intentions were but Killua was still at a lost for words when he suddenly mumbled,
"He's my friend..."

Illumi leaned down to see if he heard that right, before putting a finger at his chin,
"Hmm that won't do... well how about this, forfeit the round and go home or I kill the green boy. I think the first option suits you, your not fit to be a Hunter or have friends. You're better off an assassin."

Illumi practically threatened Killua, who didn't know how to respond. After giving it some time, Illumi walked past Killua announcing,
"I see.... so that's how it'll be. Oh well"

A referee began to approach Illumi to try and stop him but Illumi had a few needles at hand that he threw at the referee's face. The referee's face morphed weirdly as he screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Illumi made his way towards the door but Kurapika, Leorio, and Hanzo stood in front of it in a defensive manner. Illumi seemed unfazed as he  began to reach for more needles. As tension rose and weapons were preparing to be drawn out Killua said out loud,
"You win Illumi, I forfeit"

Illumi clapped his hands together and said,
"Wonderful, now about killing Gon. That was a joke"

He smiled blankly while patting Killua on the shoulder. He returned next to Hisoka as his win was secured.

... after that it was Leorio and Bodoro's round but the round couldn't even start as Killua killed Bodoro which led to his disqualification"

Satotz finished talking as he reached under his seat and handed (Y/N) and Gon a folder. Inside was a card, Satotz handed them their Hunter License, but at a very bad time. Gon stared sadly at the card before closing the folder angrily. (Y/N) snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Gon for the next move,
"Let's talk with Killua's brother"

Gon said as he hoped out of bed with (Y/N) following him to head towards the large room where everyone is rumored to be in. Gon threw the doors open, causing an awkward silence, as Gon began to scan the room. Illumi was sitting at the front, Gon marched down till the two faced each other. They said nothing but their eyes said otherwise, more just Gons eyes. (Y/N) stood at the door, feeling unable to move as she watched the air around the room grow thick with suspension. Gon broke the second, but what felt like minutes, worth of silence and angrily asked Illumi,
"Apologize to Killua"

At first, Illumi didn't bother to bat an eye, truly testing Gon's patience, but he finally nonchalantly responded,
"What for?"

Those two words really irritated Gon as he ran out patience and grabbed Illumi by the wrist and threw him in the air. Everyone stared shocked as Illumi gracefully and slowly landed on the ground, very much unbothered. Gon threw his previous words out the window and declared,
"Don't bother, just take me to see Killua"
"And what will you do?"

Illumi shot back at Gon with his new response, it was as if he was prepared for any question Gon was going to throw at him. But Gon was determined and told Illumi,
"I'm going to bring him back! After you obviously set him off!"
"Now now Gon, we were just discussing the case of Killua's disqualification. Let's hear everyone out"

Chairman Netero spoke softly, catching everyone's attention again and calming the fire that was Gons anger. (Y/N) carefully made her way downstairs while everyone's eyes were on Netero. She got to Gon and Netero continued,
"Now, Kurapika was making a point earlier. Would you like to repeat yourself?"

Kurapika nodded and stood up,
"As mentioned before, during Killua and his brothers round lacked the physical fighting. Killua was more in a trance that set him off ."

Kurapika pointed out but Pokkle decided to point out a contradiction,
"The lack of fighting could be applied to your round as well. Your round only ended because of that freaky clown whispering something in your ear. Why don't you share with us what he said?"
"What!?"

Kurapika responded clearly offended before yelling back,
"Your round could be said the same, Killua forfeited out of disinterest in fighting you!"

Pokkle's face wrinkled in anger as he began standing up and fully turning his body to face Kurapika,
"Why you!-"
"Now now, settle down you two. Arguing won't solve anything right now"

Netero interrupted Pokkle from arguing any further. He looked at everyone in the room with his relaxed smiling saggy face before settling with his next statement,
"It seems Killua acted on his very own will which led to his disqualification. If he was in some trance, there isn't enough or any evidence to support this theory. That concludes the subject. Now onto your Hunter exam license."

As Netero and the little green man explained how the license worked, (Y/N) couldn't help but stare at Gon, who trough the conversation, grew angrier and more frustrated that there wasn't a better conclusion. Something in the back of (Y/N) told her to do something to help Gon out, but right now she needs to focus on her main priority after all this is done. She felt an uneasy feeling, she turned her head around a bit and caught Illumi looking at her. Their height difference made it obvious, and his aura was no better. Since Illumi lacked the facial expressions to express his feelings, (Y/N) grew up knowing how to read Illumi's aura to figure out how he was feeling. And right now his aura was a mix of 'disappointment' 'curiosity' and... 'caution'. The first two made sense but the feeling of caution was always there and it didn't make sense.

There's a lot that has happened that caused this chapter and my recent motivation for writing to be put on hold but I hope you guys are happy with this chapter. As always every comment makes me happy, knowing you guys are real and reading this random fan fiction.

HOLY SHIT this sounds like a goodbye but I promise it isn't! I hope I can write the next chapter as soon as possible!
