I sit here all alone
                              Watching it lurking there
                              It gnaws at the shadows
                              As though it doesn't care
                              I tremble in fear
                              While it rips and chews
                              Then it turns to stare
                              What will I do
There is no time to run
And if I did, where would I go
The smile it gives is sinister
                              As though it already knows
                              It stalks toward me
                              Purposely slow
                              Its smile widens
                              And its eyes are aglow
                              Savage  wicked teeth
                              For tearing prey apart
                              I blink my eyes
                              Again alone in the dark
