You walk into Professor Ozpin's office for a meeting he called you in for.
"Professor? You wished to see-..." You look up and see your dad. You run up to him and hug him.
"Hey son."
"I've missed you father."
"And I you. Have you been behaving?"
"Y/n has been a delight James, I'm actually surprised that Y/n chose Beacon, he could've gone anywhere in the world, including Atlas."
"I want to make a difference in the world Professor Ozpin, not be in the military. I have utmost respect for the military, but as a Huntsman, I can actually help people."
"A good reason." Professor Ozpin says.
"But Y/n, there has to be more of a reason." Ozpin stands up.
"Does it have to do with wanting justice?"
"Father killed those bastards that did this to me." You point to your scar.
"I'm here to make sure that never happens again. To anyone."
"An admirable reason as any Y/n, I believe you'll become a fantastic Huntsman one day."
"Thank you Professor."
"Y/n, I want your team to be in the Vytal Festival."
"I think we planned on it Professor."
"That's good news. That's all I wanted to talk to you about, you may return to your dorm."
"Have a good day Professor, I'll see you later father."
"I'll be down later, I'll take you and your team out for some food, my treat."
"Thank you father." You walk into the elevator and take it back down.

No one's P.O.V

"Oz, is that really what Qrow said?"
"Sadly it is, I believe that the enemy is closer than we think."
"Well, you know the old adage. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
"James, Autumn is critical."
"Critical?"
"Yes. We need a plan and we need one fast."
"Do you think we have our guardian?"
"I believe so."

Y/n's P.O.V

"Pyrrha! Me and my team need a strong sparring buddy! You want to go at it?"
"Gladly!"
"Cool, I'll invite RWBY as well to watch! You get the rest of JNPR."
